Yup, sores on lips are Herpes Simplex 1 or 2.  If you're lucky hers was type 1 but if you're unlucky then 2 is the more likely to manifest sores on your dick because it is genital Herpes.

Question is, have you ever had a cold sore?  If you have then if you're lucky she's only given you what you've already got.  Sadly you might now have a full house.

Whilst Herpes is unsightly you'd have to be pretty damn unlucky to suffer from persistent outbreaks.  Depending on your general health you should find it settles to an infrequent appearance with many months or years in between.  That said, you can still be infectious when you're not showing symptoms so you will have to fess up to future partners presuming you care.
