I've done both, but I prefer to ring. Sue is probably busiest in an afternoon, particularly Fridays. (pay day

But you can usually get a same day, same hour appointment on most other days.
I generally ring the day before, and book an early time.
Twice I've happened to be close to Rugeley and didn't bother to ring.
Once she was sat in the window, and I went straight in.
Other time she was busy, but she said to return in about 20 minutes.
You could walk by her shop, she is often sat in the chair in the window.
There is a small tea bar just around the corner, and a larger café inside the market, if you need to kill time, or just pass by for a "look".
