I rang the number and the girl who answered was rather abrupt, but we arranged a time and she duly texted the postcode. It took me about an hour to get to the location which turned out to be a really grotty looking council flat near Plumstead High Street. I rang her number and she gave me the flat number and asked me to knock on the grey door when I got to it. I was close by so it took less than 30 seconds. I knocked on the door and got no answer. I rang the number and she apologized and said she'd come downstairs. She didn't. I tried ringing again and got voicemail. I waited outside for another 5 minutes and tried texting and phoning, but she didn't answer. So I wasted an hour plus of my time.

Why would she say the door number, then that she's coming downstairs if she had no intention? Would have been easier to blank you from the start. You weren't holding a knife or anything were you?

I don't know why she did that either. No, of course I wasn't holding a knife! It could be any number of reasons, but she could have been more honest with me even if she'd called the session off. I think I won't bother turning up at council places like that because that seems to be where no shows seem most likely.
