That's why I'll never see a Romanian and will unlikely see an Hungarian as well. I lived and worked in Romania for a year and never took a punt because of the way they saw themselves, as cash machines, they had to, for their pimps. They were treated very badly by men in general (not saying all Romanian men are like that, obviously) post-Ceausescu era (well, during the Ceausescu era, everyone but his buddies was treated very badly as you all know, he was an animal).
So, most of these women and girls are probably completely shut-down, emotionally, as a self-defence mechanism, to the point that some might even have gone frigid due the psychological scars they carry. Many of them actually hate men, and for a valid reason.
I found them all scarily cold at times (and this was just talking with them), and rude to men in general, unless they are either violent with them or instilling fear or, they have loads of money and give them everything or pay them for clothes, dinner, drinks. You will not imagine what I saw when I was in Bucharest, in clubs and bars. You had gangs almost everywhere and any foreigner would have to be careful who they messed with. I had a colleague being punched twice in front of us (2 weeks in...only), just because he approached a girl in a very polite manner and she was actually talking to him. And the the police didn't give a s***!!! Definitely a country to avoid in terms of night life, at least for me. As for the rest, there are beautiful places to visit and has an interesting history, as any other European country.
That is why I never even considered taking a chance with a girl whilst there, and I will not do it here either, you never know who might be behind it all.
I think I'll try to stick to British, and in general Western, North and South European girls, much safer and probably more genuine, though I know and understand it is still a business for them. In general, they are much more polite, interested and interesting.
