I don't have a problem with the OP's "review" but will admit it's light on content.
I don't have a problem with you reporting it, although I wouldn't agree it was touting but can understand why you did and why it was moved.
Half this thread is 3 or 4 members talking crap about stuff that has nothing to do with either of the above, dragging up old issues and baiting/trolling.
It's getting old already and I'm pretty new. Too many threads seem to head down this path. As soon as one member of the group posts something then the others arrive and start all this over again and it has little if anything to do with reviews, punting or any other subject related to this forum other than cock waving.
Don't you think if newer members like me and members that don't post that often notice this then it affects the forum?
If I'd joined and seen this crap in the first few threads I looked at I'd log out and not waste my time, missing out on what is a very useful tool.
I agree with some of this, particularly the first two lines.
However, we regularly hear nonsense about certain members, or certain types of post, putting off new members, when the site stats seem to suggest that it is as popular as ever. Interestingly, Admin just banned a member for spouting such shite in a disrespectful manner, with his comment "Fuck off with your opinions"
Often it is the 'fluffier' members who complain about this, possibly because the longer established sites that cater for cuntstruck fanboys and various vested interests are dead in the water. It's not for this site to change to accomodate these types of members or potential members.
For the site to remain true to its ethos- which is essential - it is necessary for members to challenge suspect reviews and reviewers. Admin relies upon this, though it is his decision alone on what action to take. To be fair, frivolous reports are often a banning reason, and Admin always takes a considered approach.
Some would call it bickering, some banter, but it's surprising how often such discourse results in a positive outcome for the site in general.
I'm not suggesting the above applies to you, but it's worth stating
