The conversation was pretty well as follows, do you take English pounds answer was yes and no it wasn't $40 but £40 in two crisp notes as they don't take old notes,  believe it or not they have an issue with old notes or notes that are defaced or have any writing on it. Eyes met and being sucker I thought what the hell, busy old street, but it went from there and vanilla but good punt only downside was oral with. I prefer owo. That was my only encounter, tried vibes, but restricted due to my having company. Will report further if any updates. Also I am the wrong side of the colour bar for Ukraine if you get my drift, so I stand out a mile.

I can confirm Royd30's problem with marked notes. Although I have not been to the Ukrainian yet, I have experienced the same issue with marked or creased notes in the Caucasus, the Stans and a few places back of beyond in Indochina.

I had the same issues in Warsaw- only new US Dollar notes. The background to this is that in the 90's and 00's the bank accounts were emptied by the Politbeaureau as they had no money. Due to the embargos that are currently in place against Russia, the people can see their accounts being emptied again. So this time they want foreign currency and in crisp notes. Cant blame them can you. When Corbyn gets in we will understand their point of view on this first hand I suspect.

I'd say 50% of WG's I've met there didn't do CIM or OWO - the ones that don't list it often will for an extra few £s. However local girls you pickup in bars and clubs I've never had one who wouldnt do both.

I've been quite a few times and I always find it easier to pickup in bars/clubs than use the sites as you know exactly what they are going to look like. Without sounding big headed I've always found it like shooting fish in a barrel trying to get a girl back in a club and I've never paid one of them.

If you have WhatsApp or Viber on your device and a reliable WiFi connection in your hotel or apartment (and in this day and age, this is a given). then you can use your UK number and don't need a local SIM. But they are cheap and easy to buy with a minimum data plan and give you connectivity when you are out and about so why not have one?

I looked at both sites and while Backpage seems a random series of adverts on different days, relaxkiev seemed much clearer and easier to navigate - it's in English with professional photos, prices and services (what's offered and is extra) are listed and you can do proper searches.
Many of them also do incall.

The concern, as Vivago says, is that you may not actually meet the girl in the photos.

Yes, Russian Visa required but enough English spoken to get by. Sevastopol charming, very reasonable and on a waterfront with much promenading in the evenings. Good restaurants and bags of talent .

So here is my recent experience in Kiev.

I visited a couple of strip clubs. 007 where the girls were good looking but nothing extra on offer. Quite a sterile place. And the Red Lion where sex was on offer from a couple of girls for 200 USD or a ‘sexy massage’ for 1000 local. I didn’t indulge and the massage would have been on premises.

I visited the Bhudda bar. Quite quiet and nothing happening there. It was a Monday though. Been there at the weekend and quite a number of girls there.

I also tried Mamba. There’s a mix of profiles but some are very obviously offering sex. Some replied straight away offering sex and seemed fully professional. Others messaged a couple of times. The going rate seemed to be 100 USD for 2 hours. I met one who claimed to be late thirties as that is what I fancied at the time. She was probably early forties but looked like here pictures. Body wise was a bit of a disappointment as lots of stretch marks. Having said that she really got into the sex and it felt one of the most natural (protected) sex sessions I’ve ever had. Lviv is a bit off the beaten track compared with kyiv, there will be options though the choice will be limited.  There is a fantastic & reasonably priced lap dancing club there,  touching allowed, but not "inside"

Taking a look at some Ukrainian SPs' rates, that will get you a lot of bang for your buck, so good news as, contrary to what one might think, punting abroad isn't often much cheaper than the UK when you add everything together.

Do a bit of a research and enjoy. Local friend or language knowledge will help massively!
