Sawan Thai Massage, Halifax

Having been a long time punter, as well as lurker on UK Punting, I thought it was about time I did my bit and made a contribution.
Being a fan of a good Thai massage, with the hope of a HE (or more), I decided to give  Sawan Thai Massage, in Halifax a try. This is a review of the multiple visits I have made there.

VISIT 1. Found Sawan Thai via Gumtree, rang and made an appointment for their Traditional Thai Massage £20 for 1 hour, thinking what great value! Easily found their premises, with parking always available in the supermarket car park next door. Entered the premises to see a clean, professional, well laid out establishment with multiple massage rooms and shower room. I was greeted by a Thai lady, mid thirties, size 12ish, reasonable looks, and very chatty and pleasant, and she took my £20 for a 1 hour Thai massage. Showing me to one of the rooms (massage mattress on floor, covered with clean towels, subdued lighting and gentle Thai music), she told me to undress and she would be back shortly. I stripped down to my briefs and laid face down on the bed.

 A couple of minutes later the masseuse returned, and remarked that I might want to remove my pants as I wouldn’t want to get oil on them! ( Here we go!!). Removing them, and covering myself with the towel, what ensued was an excellent Thai massage by a very experience lady. For £20 it couldn’t be faulted – back massage, then front, every muscle pulled, stretched and rubbed - but no swipes, no suggestions, no hint of anything extra.
With 10 minutes to go, she uttered the words ‘is it hard for you?’ Having been lulled into a state of total relaxation, and having failed to take (at my age) the requisite bluey, little Jonny remained unmoved, like a little acorn, fast asleep in the undergrowth. With a pathetic smile, I replied ‘no its ok’. 15 minutes later I was showered, back in my car, £20 lighter, having had an excellent massage, but no extras!

VISIT 2. Returned to Sawan a couple of weeks later, for a repeat appointment, but with the crucial addition of half a bluey 30 minutes before.
Met by the same lady, ushered to the same room, I had the same massage until the flip, at which point little Jonny did his duty, standing to attention, like a child playing ghosts under the towel. ‘Oh, I’ve made you stand!’ she remarked. With the towel slipping to one side, stroking her buttocks and thigh, the conversation drifted to Happy Endings. Towel left to one side, she said that they don’t really do that, but agreed that she could do it, ‘but only if I asked for it’.     I asked.     Without discussing extra cost, she said ‘I’ll go get the bowl of water then’. And went.   ? ! ? ! ?
A few minutes later she returned with a bowl of warm water, a flannel, and a towel. Then turned all the lights out! In virtual pitch black, I then felt little Jonny being gently flannelled down, then slowly stroked and massaged, as I squeezed her breasts and buttocks, until he reached the obvious conclusion. After a clean down with flannel, water and towel that any IMO carwash would be proud of, I was left to get dressed. But still no request for extra payment!
On leaving, my masseuse was stood by the reception, on her own. I quietly asked ‘any extra?’ to which she raised 2 fingers. Assuming she meant £20 extra, and not the other, I happily slipped her the money....

VISIT 3. Returning again, a few weeks later, I was met by another Thai girl which I believed was the owner. Around 30, quite pretty, about 4’ 6” and size 4ish, my interest was raised, but then shattered, when, like an SS guard, she barked ‘LEAVE PANTS ON!’ I obeyed, of course, and for 30 minutes she gave me a lack lustre massage, with no conversation. Then she announced that another girl would take over. Imagine my joy when my Visit 1 & 2 girl came in! Unfortunately, my hopes were swiftly shattered when she told me HE was now strictly off the menu, and completed a standard massage without any extras.

VISIT 4. One lives in hope, so I returned yet again, and met yet another Thai lady who gave another great massage for £20 for 1 hour, but confirmed that they never, never, ever give Happy Endings’s!

CONCLUSION. Sawan Thai Massage is a nice clean place, giving a great Thai massage, for excellent value for money, at £20 for an hour. But don’t expect any extras!

There's another thread on here where I added my own experiences, pretty much the same as you, my last visit about 3 to 4 weeks ago was like your visit 3...but a good massage and great vfm.

I love a good firm Thai massage so I thought I'd give this place a try after reading this. Looks like I got the small lady from 3. I'd say late 20's but hard to tell. Didn't talk much but found out it's a family business. I have to say I had an amazing hour for £20. Good firm (almost painful sometimes) oil massage with her walking on me and everything there was no hint of anything extra and she didn't look like the request would have gone down well if I asked.
In summary I'll definatly be returning for the massage as it was outstanding and great value. There are plenty of other places that offer average massages for twice this price but offer extras. If your more interested in the extras I'd say go somewhare else. I asked for her name as I left so I could book again but she just said call and it will be either her or her sister which supports the family thing she said before.
