Author Topic: The Missing Edinburgh Sauna!  (Read 7245 times)

Reading the various topics on the Edinburgh Scene and I notice there is not 1 single mention of Paradise Sauna out by Murrayfield!  Was wondering why that is?

Is it location that stops many going?  Is it the quality of service is poor?  Or over priced?  Or has it shut?  (Not been that end of Edinburgh for a while).

I will be at that end of the city the week after next, and was wondering if anybody had any recent info on it?  Was a regular place of mine 10 years or so ago, when I worked in the area, with Karen being a favourite. I know she is no longer working, and is on Adultwork selling pics and webcam.  any other gems in there?

one of my mates used to have a flat on the terrace above.  so a bit risky, also looked at it many times on the bus to mussle but never ventured in. was it Roseburn?

Sorry was just enjoying a bit of nostalgia,  why don't you go and have a look if your LOCAL :(

I'm not local anymore, and I didn't mean any offence!  Apologies if I have.  I'm very rarely in Edinburgh now, but as I said in my OP that I'm going to be there the week after next, and was wanting to plan ahead as to whether it is worth while dropping in/any recommendations or to book somebody on AW.

Cheers

Yes, still open when I passed by last week - it's on a main thoroughfare.

It's been a few years since I've visited though, entrance is quite exposed for us hometowners.
It was a wee bit shabby inside then, but I guess that wouldn't matter for the right girl.

There's plenty of independents in the area, and I would have though you would be better off with that option.

Interested to hear what you think though if you do venture to the Paradise.

Its very open so you would need a bit of nerve if a local to enter. Once in, they will let you exit through the fire exit, and you come out on the st from another door, and no one is the wiser. I went a few times, as I was following a couple of girls who had moved there, they have now moved on, so no need to go back. Its a wee bit like scorpio, or carols, bit scruffy, bit lax, the odd gem. To be honest you are better off at Blair st, new town, or london st.

Bit of a dump inside really, in spite of the Roseburn location, and that's saying something when you consider it's linked to Abacus (Dundas St) as far as I remember. That and the one in the Meadows. Yeah very public, not been there that often. Such an amateurish operation I don't think feedback on a my arbitrary bonk would add much. A case of why bother unless there's a known hottie there for a few weeks. Better to stick to *known* good service girls at LSS, BSS or Scorpio. Or Newtown at a push as you can be lucky there and Carols seems to have a few (very few duh) admirers. The rest are mostly well avoidable unless you have a special reason for going. And if you happen to go when Bill is doing 'friendly street interviews outside' some places are a bit more full-on than others. Paradise is on the main westbound road in and out of town.

I have been there twice a few years ago, whilst working around the corner.  I have to say, I met 2 girls, both Scottish.   The first one was a Glaswegian girl (Kerry? Kelly?) blonde, fairly average looking but scrubbed up quite well, with a nice figure.  She was very good, was a good laugh & great in the room.

2nd visit was with a very tall Edinburgh girl, short hair (crewcut as I remember, not my usual tastes), tattoos, piercings etc.  She seemed a little spaced out to begin with but really came onto her game once we started kissing.  She was insanely passionate, tigerish, it was certainly a "different" experience, enjoyable too!

So 2 good experiences for me, both a little different to the normal scene.  I passed Paradise last week & thought about going in but I was a bit short of time, otherwise I would have popped in for old times sakes.

Cant believe that place is still open!
