Looks to me like he's doing someone's hair. You can just make out someone sitting on chair in front of him. That black rectangle shape visible coming off his shoulder is probably a comb or hair dryer or something. (I've very nearly posted personal info here on UKP while trying to attach images taken from WG profiles. Very easy to do when you can't preview the images, only seeing them once you have confirmed the posting.)
