Amsterdam RLD - Newbie tips

Got a business visit coming up in Holland, hope to get a cheeky evening out to take in the RLD (solo). This will be my first time in Dam (although I'm used to RLDs - see Antwerp review). Now I know there's been recent correspondance re. its decline, but I'm not really interested in that - I'm going regardless, just wanted some helpful tips along the way. So:
– best area to start with, decent size/selection of girls but could do without tourist central (I'll be going midweek)
– I have to travel by car, so any advice about parking
– is the standard going rate still €50?

There are three RLD's in the Dam, De Wallen, the one where the tourists go and also Singelgebied and Ruysdaelkade which may be worth researching before you go.

I can recommend the Park 118 brothel as an alternative to RLD.   Only had one trip to Amsterdam but keen to return.

Yes I am an idiot and think with my dick sometimes.

So I am in Amsterdam and thinking to avoid the standard RLD.  I walk 20 min or so and pull up at Park 118.  Looks legit, but the sign says it closes at midnight and it is now after 12:30.  Shit.  Too lazy to walk back so jump in a taxi. Halfway back, I ask the driver if he knows Sexclub Golden Key and if it is open.  Yes and open until very late he says.  We arrive and I go in for €70 (dick in charge already).

Inside is a bar with 5 or 6 girls, and a few guys, ignored them.  A few girls are size 12 plus, 2 look Ok, one ultra slutty.  I get a free beer (free=€35 ea).  Barman tells me the girls cant talk to me, I have to talk to them.  (A good rule).  I talk to a nice looking 30ish girl.  Dutch.  Agree for hour for €250.

The hour was OK.  Quite nice girl.  Good DFK, nice nipples, OW, RO, good sex.  But tried to up-sell me a few times - I hate that! ('100 for OWO'.  'OK 50'.  as if ... dick brain temporarily not in charge) ('Another hour baby, we are almost out of time')  Would have been good punt in the UK for £150.

So I avoided RLD.  Had good sex.  Was robbed.  Why am I sometimes such a total idiot naive newbie-brain shit? Next time - be an idiot in the shit RLD but spend less. Or at least go with the slutty-looking one.

I,d travel up to Alkmaar. Much nicer town 35 minutes away with a small redlight district. No problem with parking and cheaper than Amsterdam

From what I read, sexclubs should be avoided (SD seems to confirm) while Privehuis are better (you don't pay for access but for the punt, depending on the length)..
I have tried only one Privehuis, twice, in Den Hag (Diane) and found the experience great. Price is relatively attractive although the WG will propose extras (kissing, OWO, etc.), clean, nice rooms with mirrors and the atmosphere of a brothel of the 19th century (the ladies will pass in front of you). I have Park 118 on my HL.
