Welcome to UKP. I'm sure you will be fine and around for a good while after the slightly bumpy start. 
If you can see or understand why your original post was questioned, then thats the second part  . If not then there may be more bumps on the horizon. It's not a personal thing from the members here it's just a case of noticing a type/style of post/poster or question, based on the history of such posts. People call it as they see it here, maybe not always 100% accurate but done for the greater good.

In time you will yourself, on occasion, begin to doubt certain posts when they appear.

 
Anyway, you do realise that now you have started riding the punting train it's very difficult to get off? I bet your already eyeing up your next visit.
