For those who haven't seen it, this is a follow up to the thread on my original visit last week - https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=138185

This morning I rang up Savvie on her individual working number to attempt to get my money back for the visit I paid to see Cariad last week. After confirming I was talking to her (rather than one of her PAs), I began explaining the situation and she interrupted me by saying she had seen the review and was ever so sorry  for how my visit was handled. She had thought about contacting me but didn't want to put at risk my discretion and knows this site is for punters so didn't want to join up. She said she was happy I had rang her. She spent 16 minutes on the phone to me talking me through the situation and made it that 50% cancellation fee isn't part of her business operation. She said she was sorry and that she had 'reprimanded' the PA who said about me paying £50 on the phone to Cariad. She totally agreed that me expecting a warm shower was an expectation that should have been met. She then said she was more than happy to refund me in full without me bringing it up. I asked her to do this by PayPal but she hasn't got it, so I said I would go down there and collect it but off the street rather than go up to the premises (for my own safety, I didn't want to chance it and it turn out to be scam and get beaten up). I thought she'd say no to this in all honesty, but said it was fine and later when I arrived at the premises she did come down and gave me the £60 - £50 refund and a tenner for my train fares.

She handled the whole thing well and in a positive professional manner. Savvie seemed very friendly on the phone and just the same in person. I've no doubt she would be a good punt.

She made it clear I was welcome back in future.

Thanks to all the guys on here that said about me trying to get my money back, without you I would have left it.

So in other words she's finally done what any decent agency owner would have done straight away, I'll bet if you hadn't have rung her she wouldn't have refunded you.
Congrats on getting your money back, but this Savvie is a shit business woman

To be fair she said she didn't want to comprise me which I can believe. She didn't have to give me my money back.

Glad it worked out in the end Mel, and kudos for not giving up. :hi:

It would have been better if she'd sorted it proactively, but the point about discretion is a reasonable one.

Well done melfort. Hopefully this kind of situation will never arise again at this particular agency. Goes to show the power of UKP

Shouldn't happen at any agency, or independent come to that, ever, in the first place ! but at least you got your money back, credit her for that , this is very unusual , I had shit punts at the beginning ( 5 ) of my punting life ( romas ) and never got a good service or the hour I paid for ( 20 odd mins once ) hence my stance, I know of no other business model that charges so much, can give so little, and you just have to walk away and bite the bullet. Well done melfort, ground breaking.

Good news Mel. And well done you for persevering.

I do think Savvie has handled this well and turned a big negative into a positive. I would consider using the agency now

How has she handled it well ? If melfort hadn't have phoned she'd have done sod all. I have no doubt she's aware of the negative publicity on here, she should have posted that she would have refunded melfort the day AFTER he was ripped off. Very unprofessional agency IMHO

Mel you did the right thing on both reviews and I'm glad you got your money back,  also a nice touch on the extra tenner for traveling costs.

Part of me agrees with Misery guts Mike that it shouldn't have got this far,  but they've refunded you and that is the main thing.

I will now use this Agency but I'll be showered and ready for action that way it wont cut into my "nookie" time

I was really pleased to read this on the back of the negative review. I was in Cardiff last November and had an absolutely stellar punt with Ashlee of Portfolio but was tempted to try illicit when I'm back again next week simply because I have a thing for the Welsh accent and Portfolio don't have as many of these girls available. Savvies customer services in this instance has probably secured my booking.

(...although I do rather like the look of Ellie at Portfolio. Hmm. Decisions decisions...)
