Not sure whether its my bias after recent exploits abroad.
I've not punted abroad but after reading some posts from members like, Steve2 and others. I must admit. I've been temped to take, my punting into Europe and see some new places. I've booked some holiday time (from work) and I may do that soon!
Wouldnt doubt that Don but has the choice deteriorated recently?
IMO, sites like A/W have become more diluted, over time. This is where sites like, UKP and UKE can help punters, in the long run.
I've noted, over the last several years. That this time of year, has shown in London (at least). That, with some W/G traveling, spending time with families and taking breaks etc, thus not working. Setting up a punt, may take more effort (time and research wise).
So far in 2017, I've tried to, and or, had contact with, 9 different W/G. Due to an number of different reasons, I ended up punting 4 times, out of the 9 attempts. And with mixed results, I may post reviews at a later date.
Don't get me wrong, it would be great to, just pick up a phone and book, with out issue. But its not always, that simple and I try not to get frustrated about it. Some days (IMO), its better to wait for and use those punting funds, another day. Thus calling time, on that day search for punt. As jumping in desperation can, in some cases lead to a poor punt (experience can be, a harsh teacher).
