Called today as it states she is British, and there's no use of the phrase 'Gentlemens',  and the feedback appeared genuine enough.

Girl I spoke to was definitely not English. When I queried this,  by asking what part of the uk her accent was from, she appeared to not understand, and said the usual 'I'll text you address  baby'

So looks like another dodge EE one.

You don't have to be born here to call yourself British. Though unlikely she could have married a Brit and then got a British passport ! My wife did and she's from Turkey !

More likely some EE Sergei has got hold of a British verified profile and stuck his own girl on there.

Perhaps the OP can report it to AW as non-British and they will ask them to verify again which they probably won't be able to do and the profile will get pulled.

She is in Fife, Scotland, we are in East of England here which I do not think is what you meant by EE?

Unsure why you felt the need to dig out this post,  and talk about 'Britishness',  when it's pretty clear what the context for posting was.

Being a forum in which members try to help one another out,  I felt that it was an appropriate piece of information to pass on to my fellow punters.

Yes you can be British and from another nation. However alluding to being English and stating that you are from this country,  when you are unable to speak the basics of the language,  is something that others should be aware of.

We get ripped off enough in this hobby,  so a little bit of information could be useful to prevent losing your hard earned.

She was in Ipswich when I contacted her mate. I definitely meant Eastern European

I too have come across profiles in the past. Clearly romanian but set nationality as British.
