Miss Splits

Headline version: Didn't happen, last minute cancellation, waste of my time.

I booked Miss Splits a few weeks in advance as part of my "special" birthday party punt. All comms were good, she seemed keen and reviews suggested that she'd deliver (if she turned up) so I thought it was worth the risk. She was fine with me changing the venue a few days beforehand (bigger hotel room as I added more people to the party) She made it clear that she'd have to leave bang on time as she had a "function" to go to (another London booking I guess, no issue for me, fair enough)

On the morning of the punt, she messaged to say she had a terrible cold but would still come over if I wanted  - neither me nor the other girls involved thought that this would be a good idea naturally. Especially with deep throat/spit etc 

Disappointing as there was no time to get anybody else, especially for that type of multi-girl punt.

I can't recommend on this basis, regardless of how good she might be if she actually turns up.

Bit harsh to drop the neg-bomb if she offered to come anyway no? Wouldn't it have been worse for her to turn up, take your money and infect you all?

If she'd turned up with a terrible cold, I would have shown her the door. I do appreciate that she gave me the heads up, but am surprised that she would even consider working in that condition. I think the Negative is deserved based on a last minute cancellation, and the offer to work whilst ill.

WG wise, I'm sure you can guess , nothing new to add in reviewing there, outstanding as usual! - but there were swingers involved too. I did go ahead and it was a great time, but disappointed as specific scenarios I had in mind were based on everyone turning up!

You are perfectly right to rate as you see fit, but if I believed she was genuinely ill, I personally would not have felt a negative was merited if it were my punt.

The OP is entitled to review as he sees fit. Personally, I think it's harsh and I would've given her a neutral. And believe me, I'm no white knight (look at my reviews). But at least she did let you know and as you said you would've turned her away if she still came.

Perhaps. I have no way of knowing if she was genuinely ill obviously. No mention of it when I confirmed the night before, though of course it could have only started the next morning. I'm not a fan of last minute cancellations unless someone actually died ... And not the same relative over and over again

It was Diet Coke and they were "Italian"  - spot on about the Travelodge though
