Author Topic: Red Light Districts in Netherlands but NOT Amsterdam  (Read 1800 times)

I've been to Amsterdam a few times and I really enjoy it...but I'm a bit bored.

Just wondering, are there other Red Light Districts like the ones in Amsterdam but in other cities around the Netherlands?

Most cities and larger towns in Holland have a RLD

Lots of info on External Link/Members Only

This is quite good and covers Belgium and Germany as well

Some of the info is a bit out of date, for example the Utrecht zandpad was completely closed due to trafficking

The Brussels one is quite long. A big long street of windows as you step out of the train station at Gate du Nord. Bear in mind it is kebabland. I felt like a visitor from a distant place called Europe when I ordered lunch. A bit like parts of London.  :D

But other parts of Brussels are decidedly more posh. A big show for all the bureaucrats that need somewhere to change into their dirty raincoat.

With maps: External Link/Members Only. Sizes vary, but none are comparable to the Wallen in Amsterdam.

Prices  vary a great deal as you get away from  the normal Amsterdam rate of €50 for a quick service
Head north to alkmaar and you pay €30 and some real stunners as well. Den Haag has two areas on at €50 one at €25 Eindhoven back upto €50 again.
Breda has a great massage place one hour massage and He for €60 before the £ crash that was just over £40 great vfm

There are others in NL, probably the best two others in The Hague and Alkmaar with notable mentions to Leeuwarden and Groningen.

By far the best RLD that I've visited in Benelux is in Antwerp.
