Just seen this article in the local Gazette :

"And Cleveland Police says it’s “closely monitoring” a pioneering project in Leeds which has seen prostitution effectively legalised in one area."

A managed zone on Teesside would be fantastic. It would be much safer for the girls despite what Anna Turley says. Her twisted orwellian logic is astonishing. She says prostitution has no place in a society with real choices about employment, when it's clear that they don't want to give it a place in today's society, the one we have and which doesn't provide real choices, particularly when they've deliberately marginalised prostitution and made aspects of it illegal.

It does seem strange and even "perverted" logic to suggest prostitution has no part to play in today's society - it has always existed and will always do so, whatever employment prospects exist therefore the creation of a "safe zone" is logically and even morally sound for everyone concerned to minimise the possibility of violence & trouble.
