Just wondering how far you'd individually travel for a punt ? What factors would encore you to travel further ? I'll start things off I live in swansea and would travel as far as Cardiff for a punt with the right body and services

Offline Mil 34

I was working around the midlands area and met a really quality girl up there so I would often travel up to see her. Sadly she retired last year, so I am still looking to find another as good as her.

Distance don't put me off. Except for the point of traveling a greater distance only to be  :bomb: out.

Which is why I'm more selective generally with my visits. I've done Swansea to Bristol, Midlands to Bristol.

And I will be doing Midlands to Newcastle, depends on what floats you're boat I guess.

Not sure what you're looking for Jac, but if you check reviews etc. Invariably you will see that majority of the better SP,s are in the Capital  :hi:

I'll travel about 10 miles or what ever I can squeeze in between 9 and 5, I like to get my punts done early on too, around 9am start for me so I get the rest of the day to recover and reflect ;)

It's not so much the miles that put me off, it's the time. I usually keep travelling under 45mn each way for 1h punt.
I can afford to disappear for 2:30 max.
I would'nt be able to go off radar for 4:00  :manhater:

Only thing that bothers me on distance punt is being let down on arrival. As experienced by Mil with Olivia  :dash:

Fortunately not happened yet

Swansea, Bristol, Gloucester type distance from Cardiff, basically as a rule , but would travel a bit more for a special one off .

Offline mrdiamond77

I live in Torfaen and there are very few girls up there, so I normally punt in Cardiff, Newport or Bristol, usually punting on my days off work.  I have thought about going to Swansea to see Welsh Barbie but if she has to cancel on the day I might be a bit stuffed for a plan B.  There is plenty of totty for me to go around in Cardiff & Bristol though.

And thay just put the bridge fees up again and I got a van 15quid odd a time, and before anyone from south of the bridge complains about only paying to get in to wales , 100% of the fees go to the French company that run it and Westminster , none finds its way to Cardiff.
Won't stop me though 👍

Just seen ITN News now and they are also putting rail fares up again next year, which is my main transportation when punting.  Still won't make them run on time though will it?

I've not caught a bus for about 20 years and not got a train since I went to Leeds and Bristol on the Cardiff city specials in the 70's early 80's,  someone fell off in the Severn tunnel and died, on one trip to Bristol, RIP .

Well I don't drive so not much choice really.  Don't usually mind the trains much, it's using the buses I don't like, especially in Cardiff.

. . . mmmm. It's not so much the distance but more the road systems (traffic hassle etc.)
6 hour round trip journey next week, but I reckon she'll be worth it  ;) !
Just hope she's not ill!

If you don't go . . , then you never know  :kissgirl:

I have travelled from South Wales to Sandys Superstars in Manchester and tied in some meetings as I was there with business but the purpose of the visit, my first visit there was was totally out of the blue as as at short notice I went to buy a motorbike in the area so went there to see what Sandys was all about.

Visited probably 10+ times and was all excellent but not been for a while.  :drinks:
