Interesting point. Perhaps it is in the interpretation? 
I would have called the Chinese place in Hillgate and other oriental places a massage parlour but will bow to your clearly better knowledge

I always think of Jackies as a Stockport parlour, although I know it's in Levenshulme.

That seems to be an empty shop premises near to the Britannia brothel and immigrantion hostel.

Google the mobile and it says an address in Bollington?
