I was having a similar conversation with a wg last month when we realised we may be going to the same event in a couple of weeks time. Twice I have run into a girl I have punted with and twice I have met a girl I know in a parlour.
The first was when a girl I had visited ended up cutting my hair in a barbers. She asked me if we knew each other. So I said "we know each other professionally" :-) that was fine as she just laughed.
The second time I was in TESCO cafe, looked at the table next to me and there was a girl I had seen quite a few times sitting with a couple I presume were her Mum and Dad. She looked mortified but we had a laugh when I returned for a booking.
Then two encounters which worked the other way round. The running of my local pub was taken over by two gorgeous young girls, short skirts and boots when they worked in the bar. It was a disaster and the pub failed, but I met each of them in a different parlour in Swansea. This was back in the nineties when Swansea parlours were really worth visiting. Unlike today of course.
