They've probably upped their prices because of the festive season and the increase in demand for girls during this period. It'll drop in Jan. That's my theory anyway.

I think for the older punters amongst us - you would recall that say 10 years ago, the prices for punting was not that different from the prices today (when compared with price of a pint to house prices); and also 10 years ago, EE girls were a minority while now English girls are a minority.

Of course this alone is not a reason to vote Remain or Leave, but Brexit will definitely push prices up in the next few years.

Not everyone uses grossly overpriced agency girls, I voted leave and have no regrets at all.

Agency owners are lowlife pimps, nothing more, nothing less.

Experience (20 years punting and in several countries) suggests that in average this is unfortunately far from true.
I've seen a number of English girls who blamed EE for pushing the prices down. This -admitting it was true- was almost merely short lived: English girls didn't simply disappear from the market, they've put their prices up.
The issue is a bit more complex than that in truth. Local girls only want to maximise their profits. For them, paying £3K in renting for a flat somewhere in London is not worth it, then here it goes someone who would hire it for the high end market and charge an absolute arm and a leg for foreign WG (south americans, invariably).
So long as there is a "market" prices will only go up.

Remove the demand temporarily...should bring prices down? of course that's impossible to do...me being an idealist.

I'm just basing it on a handful of ladies I have kept an eye on for the past 6 months. 1 new lady, for e.g., Got a bit cocky (after a busy pre-xmas 2015 period) and raised her prices to 120 in London. Within 2-3 weeks they were back down to 100 and have remained so. Another popular gal moved location (possibly to reduce rent outgoings). She increased her 30m price for a month and then brang it back down and has stayed like that for the past 5 months.

It is complex and of course depends on so many factors. Like you say, in reality, prices will rise.
