Yes, nearly 2 years, and look how the scene has diminished since. The demise of sandys is increasingly looking like the beginning of the end for the manchester parlour scene.
Logically it should have provided a boost for the other parlours as all those punters have to go somewhere but it doesn't seem to have done this.
Sandy's seemed to be really busy at times and normally had a buzz around the place that i've still not seen anywhere else since.
Think I have punted more Indi's from AW but I find them a real pain to plan and book plus the quality is more suspect (IMO) and they tend to be more expensive.
Probably punt most at GFE Bury which inherited quite a few SS girls is nicely decked out and has some good girls but still doesn't seem to have the footfall or buzz around the place that Sandys used to.
La Maison also inherited a lot of SS girls but their lack of focus in refurbishing the place must put punters off, at the very least working showers would be good
KSG is / was a bit off the beaten track for me so I only went there a few times and they are on the move now anyway
50 shades fucked their opening up, as I recall they opened before they were really ready and showers weren't working properly along with the website not being clear on things such as the rota etc.
I've actually punted here a couple of times in the last 6 weeks or so and it brings back fond memories, looking to use it a bit more in future now i've rediscovered it but on both occasions it's been dead and both girls said it's quiet (one used to work there when it was SS)
Preston VIP should be my go to parlour due to it being so much closer but i've only punted there a few times due to availability of girls I actually want to punt
