Author Topic: Text is Easier...........  (Read 2207 times)

Hi guys,

Looking for opinions on text. This happened last week and has played on my mind since. I tried to call a relatively well reviewed lady, mixture of mainly positive with a dodgy negative and a couple of neutral, and got a text to say sorry i cant talk. I replied to say no problem and I would try again later. Within 5 mins I received a reply which simply said "text is easier."

Now rightly or wrongly this set alarm bells in my head. Why is text easier? You are Scottish so why is it difficult to talk on the phone? I decided to leave it and let pam and her 5 sisters do the business but i am now considering a visit agin and wondered what opinion was on communication only by text?

For a bit of context I had a very bad experience with a non British, presumably Romanian, lady about 3 years ago and vowed i would never get caught out in such way again.

Cheers

It all depends on the girl..some prefer texts, some calls and some emails initially.

Some girls may be with a punter when you call,so txt is easier.

I personally prefer txt, unless I have to call..if I think the girl is iffy (maybe not the nationality she states on profile) I'll definitely call.

Maybe she was on a bus or in a cafe having lunch and didnt want to broadcast any awkward questions you had to anyone else

I also prefer texting it is easier. I set up my next punt by an initial email on aw and then the rest was done by text. I dont mind calling if i am outside a wgs house but texting is easier.

Was it atomicredi that you were trying to meet? I only mention as she gave me the same chat a few weeks ago. Eventually never happened as she was being arsed about a shower coming out of the hour that I took umbrage to.

From a girl's perspective, sometimes we have stuff in our lives that mean answering isn't too easy (ie when we're not working). If we are working phoning sometimes isn't wise as another client may be there.
Also as someone who doesn't talk on the phone, it's because I actually hate talking on the phone

Seconded.  Hate talking on the phone, especially to folk I don't know.  To be fair, shagging a stranger should be even more off the chart but apparently not :)

Like the others have said sometimes texting is just easier or the preferred method.

And if you say who the wg was there's a chance someone on here will be able to tell you if she's reliable.

Prefer the text route too.

If it's a girl I haven't met before and I'm in the slightest bit wary, I'll give her a quick, 'I'm here', call just to hear a female voice for reassurance.

Text is always my preference. Nothing to do with the WG - more to do with me. Arrangements, addresses etc much easier by text. Quick 20 second call when I arrive tends to be sufficient

If you contact the escort by email, and explain your self, but not looking for booking right away, but to have a back up plan

Done this my self, contacted around 20 local escorts, told them in town but don't have access to the internet, and would it be ok to see if your were free, on a certain day

12 replied, and were more than happy to do this; so the following week, sent a group message

Are you free in the next few hours, 6 replied yes; so asked for location, and from there made arrangements to see one of the escorts

I usually start with a txt or AW email, but if it's a new WG with no record on here or FB on AW I will request a phone conversation. You'd be amazed at how many disappear at this point, assume they are less than true to their ads, but it saves you going to a 'British' girl only to walk in and she speaks no English, is not the girl in the pics etc. and you have to bail at the hurry up.

Now that's planning!

I think I'll have to adopt that procedure myself. Although finding 20 I'd be interested in may be difficult.

I'm the same. For a first meet I insist on talking over the phone. I tell them I need to know that you're not a drug addict, a crazy person or a guy!

Any girl worth their salt takes it in the good spirit that was intended.
