I wouldn't even want to be a tourist in Turkey.
Sounds a bit risky at the moment.

Russians were popular back in the day. I was there last month. The west and south coast should be safe but I'm not so sure about big squares in Istanbul or Ankara

There are now no Russian tourists visiting Turkey, so less chance of bumping into Russian WGs....
