Well this is how I would describe the typical ''chav'' area of Thailand. Theres many girls there, not the best of the best by far. You need to get to clubs early (10pm)

I would choose Bangkok all day over pattaya. If your trips planed send me a message I can recommend a few places.

Not correct.

Regional section is for information on independents and establishments in West Mids.

The correct way of doing it would have been to post in the abroad section and asked if any guys from west mids has been there.

That section is great, when you are planning your future punts abroad, and then you come back and post your punting experiences.

Whilst it would be great if you could regularly look up for updates, help newbie members etc., in my case I'd have to go into 20+ individual regions if I wanted to go any further. Unfortunately you need loads of spare time in order to do that.

Just today, someone enquired about Dubai in a new thread, which was easy for me to spot, so I gave him the relevant info/advice.

I read that interesting thread on tailors yesterday, and I've done same in Dubai. Got loads of custom fit trousers for £25~£30, when "normal" ones cost £30+ in the UK.

Tell them you are going to Chang Mai or somewhere more sedate and then take an internal flight, cheap and easy in Thailand.
 
I went to Pattaya for two weeks, I was completely partied out by the time I left, so 2 or 3 days would be an excellent short excursion.

Aside from the sex industry it is an absolutely beautiful country with lovely people, history and sights and, great VFM too.

Well first ever post, thought best to get it out the way.

Been to Thailand many times, went a lot of times over xmas through to new year - saving up holiday from work and going for a 4 week period at a time. Got a few friends who ended up living there. Can even speak Thai to a degree. Unfortunately have not been since 2010 - but planning to go next year 

I would say one of the most fun places to go with a few mates, even gone on my own when started working for myself and had a gap between work.

Had some fun in both Pattaya, phucket, and Bangkok, plus travelled to many other parts of the country. People are friendly and always smiling. General rule would be if you look for trouble you'll find it, but this is a rare occurrence. You can easily meet people to chat to whilst out.

Bada Bing Go Go is meant to be good in Bangkok, Soi cowboy, and narna plaza also. Patpong is ok, but lots of people trying to get you to see some form of show - don't bother. As for Pattaya it's crazy best ask people when your over there and like one of the previous poster said get out about 9:30 to 10 as that's the time the elite get in the GoGo bars.

Golden rule never pick the first one that pays you attention, always have a good luck around.

Been to Thailand 10 plus times most recent being pattaya Jan 16  I would avoid Bangkok as overpriced and very busy if ur after girls girls girls get to pattaya 300 baht bar fine and don't give the girl any more than 1000 baht for the night.

"Quality" girls, if there is such a thing, will not stay the night for 1000 baht ----------------- bar fines will be more than 300 baht in Go-Go bars.

Let's hope the bombing campaign does not continue -----------

It is believed to be the work of Thai people smugglers, there is a huge black market economy in Thailand, and one of the trades is people traffiking of Burmese and Cambo workers, typical male Thai mentality is that of a 12 year old boy, so they over react and easily throw toys out of their pram.
