Saw the video of this on TikTok, it popped up on my feed. Fucking appalling. Not only was he filming while people were going in and out, the Madam was even trying to shoo him off, as he was putting off custom. And as if that was not bad enough, two people came out and he did not blur their faces, he FROZE the video so you could clearly see who they were. Now loads of 'creators' are making videos about visiting SPs and how 'sad' it is in 2026 that 'man is paying for pussy'

About a week ago, or so, a punter said on here, that crazy Angela (now in Lisle Street) had told him the the Lisle Street walk-ups were under threat, and she would rather rertire than go indie!

The filming thing is outrageous, but it's a fact of life that everyone has a smart phone, along with the fact that there are platforms to upload content to.

It will mean that anything in public view will be seen as fair game. How long before the idiots move on to filming the massage shops of Soho and elsewhere?

They'll get bored. Nobody knows why you're visiting a property other than you and the people you are visiting. If you react like you've doing something wrong, then you'll look suspicious and blackmailable.

Do you mean they're actually approaching/speaking to people coming out of the walk-ups while filming?

Laura's point is valid that HOD doesn't have quite the same issue as it just looks like a standard residential property from the outside so even if filmed it doesn't look as bad to the average person. Not that I would want to be filmed coming out of there, covid mask might be the way forward now. I tend to just wear my hood and keep my head down!

That prime real estate is owned by a handful of people, but not "controlled" by them as the flats probably have generous leases agreed when Soho was more run down. A lot of the ownerships have been passed around and consolidated. Most of the ground floor shop premises are now identikit shop fronts offering the same kind of quirky food offerings or wanky Simmons type bars. It'd be easier to be rid of the last remaining walk ups to have full control of those streets and turn it over to street fashion outlets and brunching. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Soho Estates had bunged the Mizzy wannabes a few quid.

Unless you've a waiting vehicle (also not ideal) then you're going to be walking for a while from there, obvious to anyone who saw you leave.

Do they seriously block people people for one no show even after keeping them updated? Seems a bit harsh if you've been a regular before. I made a booking for an 11am slot recently and when I called to confirm in the morning (so less than an hour before the booking) they told me the girl wasn't working that day. They'd made an error on the website when I'd called to book a few days before.
