A lot of the details sound similar and they both seem to be very unreliable at showing up.
I've been watching Byrony on the LMB rota since the 12th of April and she seems to be listed often but on the day drops off as soon as her start time approaches.
I never managed to see Tammy (although I did try) but I have seen Bryony and she turned up an hour late to her shift and was about 15 mins late for my booking. Looking at the pic of Tammy it doesn’t seem like it couldn’t be her and Bryony did say to me that she used to work at LM before coming back recently (indeed she was singing the praises of their “open arms” policy - and she is a prime example of a pisstaker that lewisjones refers to).
I haven't been there a lot but I'm ok with the way they operate as it seems a very WG friendly policy that should ensure that you get a happy WG if she is actually there. At other places you have the issue of sometimes seeing a WG who is there doing a shift to avoid being fired and they are unwell, upset by something home, etc. I also like their policy of letting the WGs set their own hours, otherwise some of the WGs working there might not work there at all, very few parlours would let you do a 10-4 or a 12-5 like they do.
He’s not wrong though, most of the girls at LM and in most cases, take the piss out of the parlour and punters.
I’ve met plenty of miserable WGs at LM or at least the average service quality and attitude of girls there isn’t noticeably better (on average) than equivalent parlours (albeit there are only a few equivalents).
If at other parlours a WG is under threat of being fired, it’s because she’s repeatedly taken the piss previously and is now on her last chance. Very occasional absences with warning/notice are tolerated by every parlour (albeit there is variation). WGs are struck down by illnesses, family emergencies and personal problems at a rate of about a 1000% more than regular people and that’s a conservative estimate. In the rare event a WG is working while this has actually happened (and it is very rare in my experience), it’s because she’s cried wolf too many times in the past.
There’s no parlour in Greater Manchester that is more strict with it’s staff than a local Tesco. Indeed they’re all far more lax about attendance and punctuality (as well as attitude and doing the job well), of course some more than others.
What you are advocating is simply having their standards in the gutter. However, I do feel you’re valid in doing so because it’s the girls who have most of the power not the parlours. If a parlour gets too strict they’ll just leave and work at a different one, work for an agency or even go indie (or just not work at all since many are so lazy and the good looking ones have alternatives like OnlyFans, webcamming and being a sugar baby).
Let’s look at the pros of the LM approach:
- Girls can work when they want and for how long they want
- They can leave for months or years on end and return at any time
- Being fired for poor attendance etc is extremely rare
All of those are good for the WGs, including the pisstakers. One might think that’s it’s not good for punters which is still somewhat true but not totally in the current environment. Good looking parlour girls are rare (and those providing good service as well even more so) and so anything that attracts girls to the parlour/to become a parlour girl is good for punters because the supply of decent WGs in parlours is so damn low.
So like you, I do think there’s room in the Manchester parlour scene for a place like LM even though it has it’s clear disadvantages. I also think that in the current environment it would be very difficult for a parlour to operate with high standards of attendance and punctuality, let alone decent standards of service. I’m not trying to defend them too much though, most do fuck all to maintain standards and many don’t even know what standards are let alone have them.
Perhaps I’m just too cynical though, the people who ran Sandys ran it right (for the most part and certainly in comparison to other parlours) although I do think it was on a downhill trend before it closed and recreating it now would be very difficult because it seems to be even harder to attract good talent these days.
