Hmm, a bit biased, I'd say.
I suppose that compared to most on this site, I'm almost a "fluffy", as I see no reason not to be friendly and respectful with the WGs who I patronize. I do tend to disagree with the extremely cynical attitudes of a lot of the members here, however I do not question that they are sincerely held and have some cause behind them.
However I do not see the sheer aggression towards WGs that this article portrays as "normal" on the site, so I think the reporter definitely already had an agenda when she started her research ... she really must have dug deep to find a few articles that she then quoted as if they were the everyday norm. If she really wanted to report on what the site did she'd actually quote hard numbers on how many posts on this site were like that, and compare it to the number where the punters actively rebuke fellow punters for abusive or non-consensual behavior ... and that I HAVE seen.
Ah, what can one expect from the PC crowd.
