So, my first visit back to Budapest in over 5 years. Dont think the punting scene is that great then. As a porn capital, it was very disappointing, probably because expectations were too high. I'll provide a day by day breakdown of my experiences. Apologies in advance if it gets boring in parts.

Looked at the menu, she pointed out at a drink that was 1,900 (about a 5er), so agreed. However when she ordered, I overheard her say Cognac, so went back to check the price... HUF19,800 (£60)!!
By this time, the drink was already poured and the coke bottle (which was not ordered) already opened. The bar tender got quite aggressive at this point saying that the drink was poured so we had to pay. The girl still insisted that we should go for a dance and she would like to provide me with a thank you dance at a reduced rate of HUF10,000 or HUF20,000 if i wanted full strip and touch. I told her it wasn't a discount as I have been to other clubs before at it was the same. Asked her about full service... HUF150,000 (about £430). Asked her to do 1 and requested the bill. Bill for 2 barcardi mixers and 1 cognac, HUF40,000 mainly comprised over additional fees and charges
I realised i was conned and the doorman was quite scary looking so decided to pay up. Walked back to the apartment. Saw a few street girls, probably gypsies and they asked for €30 for full service but we had to accommodate. Walked away. April Fool's Day and definitely felt like a fool!
Day 2 - SundayVery quiet on a Sunday.
