he did clearly say 'If I was happy with every other part of my marriage and it is just sex that I am missing. I would do like many on here, stay married and get the sex elsewhere'

clearly there are other underlying issues he hasn't mentioned and none of our business

The guy is under the spell of a younger sugar baby who is treating him well because she doesn't want the cash flow to dry up. He thinks it will be easy in his late 40s to find a young lady to replace his wife who will treat him the same as the sugar baby is now. I think he is seriously mistaken.

To the OP, I would question if this drastic action is actually going to solve your problems. I believe in most relationships the sex gets stale or fizzles out over time. You could be back in the same place in another 5 - 10 years, but a lot less well off.

You are correct.  I do see the divorce as a short term pain for a long term gain.  I don’t where I will end up, I just want the opportunity to look and hopefully find happiness.  I just know I can’t spend the next 30 or 40 years as I am.

I just wanted to start by saying thanks to Watts.E.Dunn and to every one how has offered advice and support.

My best friend of 20 plus years died 2 years ago.  I would have discussed the possibility of divorce with him if he was here.  I never discussed extra marital activities with him, though. All of my other male “friends” are actually the husbands of my wife’s friends.  I expect to lose them in the divorce.  So, you guys who have read my posts about punts, sugar babies and the divorce, actually know a lot about me that one else does.

It is official we are getting a divorce.    Everybody who matters (and now you lot) know that I am off.  The important thing for me is that my sons were very good about it and don’t hate me for upsetting their mum. Fortunately, my wife wants an amicable divorce through a mediation service.  I am almost free. 
Hilariously.  My wife has 2 sisters.  Her Mum has always said that I was her best son in law, much better than the other two.  Admittedly the competition is not up to much and I am not at all surprised to come out on top. After 25 years of being number 1 son in law and looking after her daughter, all undone in 25 seconds when I want a divorce.  I am now an utter bastard apparently.

I am off to Warsaw in a couple of days on a “business” trip, because I can and the wife can’t moan.  Really, it is a little treat to myself whilst the dust settles here.  I am looking for Warsaw based entertainment on Gold Bikini Club, a Polish sugar baby site and escort.club.  A full report will follow when I am back.

The personal information you have posted about yourself here and in other posts is actually quite detailed, though it is still unlikely to allow a 'stranger' such as myself to identify you.

However for anyone reading who knows the real you (including your wife) it is almost as solid as DNA at confirming your identity as a member on here.

Apologies if you think I am singling you out, but this subject has been something of a hobby horse of mine going back many years on punting forums.

In your case you have said that you hope for an amicable divorce, but that her knowing about your activities would seriously affect that.

The balance of probability means your secret life will still likely be secret, but the level of detail in your posts was not necessary to make your point and does leave a strong digital fingerprint
