I have to say, while it does sound like she was going out of her way to kill time (which is unacceptable), why would the time not start as soon as you arrive? I do actually agree that it sounds like this was a bit of a piss take and in my opinion, there is no time for drinks, chats, or a tour of the house in a 30 min booking. However it does confuse me a little when people are surprised that 30 min isn't actually an hour. It always makes me roll my eyes a little when people talk about 'clock watchers' and how they 'hate being timed' but you pay a set amount of money for a set amount of time. If a WG charges £80 for half an hour, when you pay her do you just stick your hand in your pocket and give her whatever you grab? Sometimes its £80, sometimes it's £120, sometimes it's £85? No, course you don't. You count your money the same way WGs check the time. If there was no set time, there could be no set rate. WGs don't complain about "money checkers" yet clients complain about clock watchers. I do appreciate that its easier said than done to just say "right, I don't want to see your house can you just get on with sucking my cock" but you do need to understand that half an hour shouldn't be more than half an hour. That's just my opinion as a WG, bias as it may be! No offence, you're all entitled to your own opinions of course.

To be fair i always assume that the clock starts from when you arrive but equally if your getting a tour of the house then the time needs to be adjusted.
Also from a business piont of view if you want a good reputation leaving mid thrust cos an alarm goes off and telling the guy to finish himself isn't going to get any repeat customers!!! An extra 5 mins to get him off would have earned her more in the long run.
I personally don't mind an alarm so long as if she's spent 10 mins to hide the money and all those things that hapoen are aloud for.
I would have thought that as a service provider you'd be better havinv a wall clock to glance up at and do those things you do to bring a customer on faster according to the time left rather than having an alarm.
Also and i'm not suggesting for one min that you do this but how many time have punters paid for an hour chucked their muck in 45 and been rushed out. It's happened to me plenty of times.
So as with everything in life there are good & bad punters and good & bad service providers.
