Not all profiles (but most) listed are becoming 'inactive' and my conclusion is that if plausible reasoning is given in the post then the profiles are mostly removed whether there is a 'Tineye' hit or not. Whatever is happening then IMO it is good news albeit it's only 'tip of the iceberg' stuff as they say. Nothing like this will be 100% successful yet any saving of Punter (UKP member or not) money and time is good enough reason for me to take the trouble to continue to list those I spot. I'd ask more members than currently do so to do similar being sure to post sufficient details to allow whoever is taking action to continue to do so. Baseless posts with virtually no detail are pointless, a bit of effort is required I'm afraid. The profile I posted this morning had been around since 2006.
What I find annoying is that a previous attempt to do something similar on a so called Punters board was 'jumped' on and ruined by certain Prossies who felt it was out of order and in some way a slur on their integrity rather than an effort to try and save Punters time and money. IMO a failure to acknowledge the bigger picture because of a misguided and blinkered view of things. It was finally deleted once 'they' had had their fun.
It may be that posting will give 'Scammers' pointers on how to avoid detection and I've noticed certain techniques (quite sophisticated) employed to avoid Tineye pick up myself (I won't post these). That said it's a more difficult than just uploading a picture and makes things more difficult for these tossers.
A similar thread was also receiving attention though 'interest' seems to have 'gone away' at the moment.

Very true,
and why Punters sometimes spend their hard earned to see a little bit more.
Onwards and Upwards. Long live UKP.
