Driving through the Main Street in Pontarddulais, Swansea today and noticed a shop unit with a sign in the window saying Thai massage spa opening soon
Bit too close to home for me but somewhere some may want to pay a visit and check out
It's on the right hand side as you drive down the one way system

Far too close to home for me too, especially as the shop entrance is so public.

If they are anything other than legit I can't really see them lasting in Bont.  The rumors would shut them down.

Past it yesterday and peered in the window. Interior dimly lit but could just make out a very pretty Thai girl on a couch who waved and beckoned me in. Its right on my doorstep too so I won't be going in though. The shop has a large open plan space inside and the set up I saw suggests to me its beauty oriented.

A mate of mine is married to a Thai girl. She doesn't know who's behind the shop but is going to ask around and whether or not its a legit massage place or a nookie factory. I'll post her opinion when I find out.

Whilst its prominent place on the main road suggests its legit, if you know you Bont you may remember the old co-op building which became an abandoned curry house for many years before they demolished it - its now the empty space next to the bistro/coffee shop. This apparently had a brothel in the flat above the curry shop for quite a few years.

The Chinese massage place in Morriston couldn't be in a more prominent location and most know by not a that a happy ending is always on offer there, saying that regardless of if the one in Bont is legit or not, it's on my doorstep pretty much so a no go for me from the start unfortunately

Flippin 'eck. I'd forgotten about the parlour that used to be in Bont. I visited there a few times more than a decade ago. It struck me then, as now, as a very unlikely place for such an establishment.

Seem to remember one girl (Toni?) who gave a fantastic service. Sadly, I've never seen her since

There's not much the locals can do about it seems to be a legit massage service.

My mates Thai wife didn't know the people behind it and they weren't part of the Swansea ex pat Thai community.

It turned out it was a dodgy operation though. The massage service was a legitimate service only but was a cover for the cannabis farm being run upstairs in the building. The cops raided it and it was closed down. I kid you not !!!
