Ok, so I phoned a parlour here in Trowbridge- The image & I've obviously phoned them in the middle of a raid.
Rather than just hang up, I kinda panicked and my polite work guy took over.
He asked where id heard about the place, I said trade it.
He asked me if i wanted a massage, I said know, just a curious phone call.
He recommended that I steer clear of the place.
I've not done anything wrong, right?
They've not caught me in there.
I imagine theyre on the look out for sex trade workers and whatnot right?
Are they likely to check my phone number?
I called from my mobile, should i get on to my provider & see if I can get a new number or a block on who ive called?

Not sure you broke any law.  You rang a place licensed to give massage - pretty normal if you were booking a massage.  Not illegal.  Guessing you didn't ask for sex.

No you haven't done anything wrong legally. If not already doing so ensure you use a paid for in cash punting phone/sim and bin the sim if required. If you used your normal phone I doubt the police will call you back but if they did just say you were after a non sexual massage thus avoiding further questions.

The WGs working in the brothel aren't breaking the law unless they help organise it and/or answer the phone to book punters in. A punter also isn't breaking the law by punting in a brothel unless its proved a WG was underage and/or being coerced. Its usually the pimp/s the police are after who are breaking the law by running a brothel and controlling prostitutes for gain even if none of the WGs are underage or being coerced.

The raid could of been under POCA, or just a check round with no further action taken, the police sometimes take the view not to close a brothel as they know where the WGs and pimp are and can choose to raid it and close it at any future time, sometimes because by then the pimp would of made even more money that they can try to get under POCA.

But he didn't have sex with anyone, all he did was ring the place so even if they did have coerced and/or underage WGs as long as he didn't admit he had punted their previously he couldn't get done for anything as he hasn't broken any laws. If the police did happen to ring him back he only has to say he rang for a massage.

Any place could have a pimp even if he or she is in the background, the police may have info about this, or as I said they might of just raided to check whether there was a pimp or not, and if there wasn't allow it to continue operating.
