There have been multiple attempts over the years to run threads here capturing fakes and b&s, all have failed due to the lack of participation by the majority of users here, contrbutory let alone lurkers and leeches.
You're suggesting the same membership (arguably more lurkers and leeches now) should coordinate mass reporting to multiple listing sites, all/most of which could give nae fecks about a bogus ad as long as it drives ad traffic or pays to list?
As someone who has been reporting fakes to AW and on here for a while now, I wouldn't agree that the thread "capturing fakes and b&s" has "failed" .
I've not kept a count from the beginning but I think since I started reporting issues to AW we're up to at least 250 profiles that AW has acted on, probably more.
I would argue that shows they do give a feck about bogus ads.
You are right about a lack of participation by the majority of users here. In 2020 there were a lot more comments by other UKP members and it would be nice to feel I'm not not the only one sending in the reports nowadays.
