It says a lot about her that I once dropped my wallet in her flat. As I was leaving she found it and returned it to me, complete with all the cash. She then refused to take the note I gave her to say thank you. I ended up putting it on the floor as I left. She certainly deserves to be happy and looked after.
A friend from Yorkshire went to live in Thailand after his wife passed, of course was soon married, he called me and asked about a business he was asked to invest in.
The business was run by a female friend of his wife,, the deal was 10% interest per month on any investment and a months notice for return of capital.
He could afford to lose 10k, so that was what he invested but we agreed he should pull it back after 6 months, every month he got a bag, after 6 and giving notice he was handed 7 bags.
So he invested 30k, every month 3k was paid, last time I asked, he said he does not give a fuck about the 30k capital, it had earned him 36k annually for 10 years.
It is women with the business heads in Thailand, I guess they learn young to keep family, but they are very honest too, mostly.
