It does look retro and not a fan of the colour scheme.
Renders poorly on a large screen, especially on a slowish connection.  Images could probably do with being better sized and compressed for different screen sizes. Seems like it has been superficially "designed" for a small device and lots of scrolling but not performance optimised.   

Agree the rebranded site is not as good. Also find the date ordering on the reviews annoying as they aren’t showing newest first in some cases.
