Adultwork - being ignored

I may be looking at this the wrong way but recently I've messaged a couple of girls on Adultwork and not got any reply or they just stop replying.

One has read the mails and just not replied, another I left her my punting phone number and she sent me a few texts then stopped replying.

Have they worked out who I am and they are running away 

But seriously, I run my own business and I would never ignore a potential customer even if I can't help them I will at least return their calls and provide advice.

Does this not happen in the world of working girls ? Serious question as I've not been punting long.

most girls on aw get all sorts of gibberish emails so they don't often engage in email exchanges unless it's to do with setting up a meet. "Are you available for an X hr incall on y date at z time". Once you've got that out the way you can enquirer about services/ uniforms etc.  Most of them just don't have time to respond to everything (& it would be a waste of time to). There are a frightening amount of time wasting jokers on aw that send girls crap that clogs up their mailbox. Once you've seen a girl you may get more banter but it all depends on the girl

Crickey, no you haven't been punting long! 

Sadly, the phrase 'the customer is always right' is something completely alien to many providers.  Get used to it and don't take it personally (I used to but less so now).

I've generally found that the better the communication, the better the meeting and the more the girl lives up to the picture in my head. (Miss KDD is a shining example). It's a good guide and I don't hesitate to delete from my HL if comms are poor or ignored. Their loss.

Different girls have told me they receive dozens of emails every day, and if they display their number they get loads of texts too - and that unless someone is actually saying 'are you available to meet on X date', it is too much hassle to exchange messages constantly. Apparently there are lots of people out there who message constantly but never ask for a meeting - under those circumstances I get why they expect people who are serious to get straight to the point.

I agree with what has been said already.

Always make the first contact about availability on a time and day. Then follow up with services required or any other enquiry.

I broke this rule recently and sent an 'enquiry' message. It was read within an hour but I never got a reply. Unfortunately I then considered 'first contact' had been messed up so I moved on - as did she - she was only in Manchester for a short time

Unless you are contacting them to specifically make a booking I'm not sure what the issue is? When I want a minicab I phone them up and book one - it would be ridiculous to phone/message the cab firm for "a chat" or to just check how they were. I'm unclear why you'd expect an escort to get involved in random, unsolicited and general correspondence with you.
Remember, many of them offer chat or IMS as a paid service too so they're hardly going to give it away for free to you.

@ Gordon Bennett, yeah I've been contacting them reference bookings and being ignored. Guess I will have to be more specific so they don't think I'm just some cheapskate after free chat whilst sitting at Home having a good old Barclays Bank

Poor comms is one of my biggest punting pet hates. It is very frustrating that WGs ignore e-mails from punters who have a genuine interest in seeing them. It does not inspire any confidence. And they often say that punters are timewasters. They seem to do a lot of timewasting themselves.

Agree with that! Think WG's lose out on good punters by poor comms. There lose!

highly frustrating. i've become a mainly last minute punter due to time wasting. have a A B C to target. if A isn't free then move on to B etc. if all 3 aren't free i give up or give my "go to Romanian" a message. its even more frustrating if you've seen the girl and they know your'e not a time waster

It's not right and it's annoying  to be on the wrong  side of it but it's the nature of the business.

It may seem poor business  sense but if a girl is happy working 5 days a week seeing say 4 or 5 punters a day at £120 per pop she's  not doing too bad .........and unless she starts seeing punters in pairs she can hardly double productivity ☺

Back to the OP if your a newbie I guess you may not have any feedback  some girls insist on it so may ignore your messages, best to persevere and if you do get a booking ask if you can also send in a booking request  do that you can leave feedback on each other.

Surely that's a quickfire way to lose customers...... If I was the new customer that booked that certain WG for the first time, who was then cancelled by her, only to find out later that she booked someone else (a regular)...... That would be a straight negative from me! No matter what she thinks after!

Yes....and I find no consistency from WG's. Some who are clearly very popular are excellent at comms and some are not and same with newer WG's who may have less messages to deal with. Will just vote with my feet (or knob!) and see those who are good with comms and reliable,

Brilliant comms are the most important thing in a WG as that inspires confidence.

Really ? If the comms are brilliant it may be because she's not very popular and has plenty of time on her hands......more likely she has a 'Sergei' or a mate doing the comms for her. That may or may not inspire confidence depending on your point of view.

I have met excellent SPs (who have given me a great time), who were excellent in their comms. This does make me look forward to the bookings. However there are certain popular WGs who are not great with comms and don't always reply readily to e-mails or texts. That would lead me to question if they are actually interested in seeing me.

I recently inquired about specifics which was read and not responded to, but then I messaged again with provisional arrangements and my contact number the next day. I got a response and everything seems fine. They don't seem to have logged in since, but hopefully the booking request will go through and I'll find myself on a great punt.
