Punting Break

Having a break at minute and got to admit financially and mentally definitely feeling better and more refreshed. Longest I have ever gone is 9 weeks going to try and go for 4 - 5 months but past history dictates that is a tall order. Lack of any new talent and general shite on aw has prompted my break and tbh I was doing punts out of habit more than enjoyment.  Still going to check out UKP regularly,  though only decent site for punters.

I know what you mean. I'm planning on abstaining from punting for at least 6 months. Although i did go for a massage/happy ending last Monday after having a row with the missus.

I've had 2 breaks of 11months and 4 months. But eventually someone off my hots list comes into my area and I get tempted again. The real trick is to avoid AW........................if you can...

How long have you been a punter for?I've had less punts this year but spent more per punt so costs about the same, I have thought of taking a break but I had a fantastic punt earlier this week and have at least one in the diary for April so won't happen yet!

I've been punting since the mid nineties. Had a break of three years once.
Last year had a six months break and managed 20 punts from June to December.
Have only punted once this year and that was  Monday gone.

I'm fairly new to punting, and said i would go about once every 2 months or 1 month if needed.
Have punted this week, and been looking already at maybe either next week or the week afterwards.
So far i haven't had a bad punt (no doubt i will) maybe my mind might change after a bad punt.

Punted from 2002 to aroud 2008. Then started again in 2015.
I feel like I am close to quitting as I have ever been. Maybe I just need a break. Will see how the next few punts pan out before deciding to end it or not.

There is definitely an issue when you lose the fun. I find myself feeling the same, but then I try to experiment during the punt.  Try to break the normal routine, it helps.

I set myself a target of only going once a month, I rarely if ever achieve that. Usually it's twice if not three a month and just this past week alone I've been three times.

While I still have strong urges and desires I can't see me stopping anytime soon even for a break.

I've resigned myself to the fact I have little control over this habit and only the fear of being found out reins me in to some extent.

I am on an enforced break, still reading UKP and contributing here and there.
Actually enjoying the break and trying to rebuild my relationship with the other half.  But reading reviews does help i think with the lack of sex... i think

I recently took an extended break from punting.... I've had 3 punts this year so far (2 were excellent but did not report - too repetitive, with 'regular' NE ladies and One was a huge error of judgement on my behalf & bloody awful, a review for which may be viewed in the Yorkshire section)

Also, fed up of being royally fucked around by some girls on AW (see my report of Skylah Rhodes, in the NE section)  to end up wasting more or less a whole day plus money in fuel & no chance to leave negative feedback on AW because the lady in question has not allowed me to

I plan to stick with a few regular ladies going forward unless I am overwhelmed by a trusted review on this site.

This forum is an unbelievably great resource for punters, when I had a recent "breakdown" I shared it on here and got a whole heap of sympathy and good advice which was fully appreciated and gratefully received. I've just completed one whole week off punting and feel as self satisfied at an Apprentice contestant, however, the self loathing has dissipated to an extent that I know for certain I'll be back in the saddle sooner rather than later.

Recently came back from a 5-6 month punting break. Lack of good options was part of the reason. Felt good to be occupied with other stuff than worrying about all the charade over planning a punt.

I started punting about 15 years ago and stopped about 11 years ago. I started again a few years back. I have hardly punted the last 5-6 months, usual story, to many bad punts, appointment no shows, prices going up. No girls I fancy in my area. I contacted a few girls this week but they didnt seem bothered, I just knew the punt would be a waste of time. Maybe they just fancied easter off though?

The mrs has been a lot better in the bedroom lately which has taken away the punting desire a bit.

I still add to my punting fund so if the right girl comes slong I might be tempted.

Got to agree AW has got really crap recently. Before I felt there were lots of options - %%%, ultimate escorts, Vixen escorts.

Does anyone think there is a good alternative to AW??

This year is my 10th year. In that time I've been fairly consistent with a punt every 4 months on average. I had more punts in my first year (kid in a sweatshop) and have had a couple of longer 7 or 8 month breaks.

I prefer it this way. Means I don't get addicted and is pretty much dictated to me by budget. I could spend more, but have made certain life choices that improve every day but which take up disposable income. On the whole, this approach works for me.

I have been punting for 37 years and my breaks are usually dictated by income, but I have been known to abstain for 6 or 7 months before now.
if I am cash rich I punt a lot some times 3 or 4 booking a week, at the moment I am cash poor only had 4 punts this year so far
