Fuck, Helmsdale was my favourite racist. Genuinely, despIte his extremism I liked him. Had several run ins but he always kept to the issue and even though he was no doubt tempted, he never got abusive to me. Whilst i hate racism, as a chap he seemed ok, setting aside his holocaut denial etc

To be fair it would probably be an hours work or less for a skilled Web dev to add a racial selection section under the "with"  box (under preferences). Obviously it might take a while for every WG to update their profile but if you are going to support the WGs right to choose then this would make that choice explicit and searchable.

Seems like a pretty logical idea! Would save a lot of hassle for us older gents if there was an age selection too, have (rarely) had a wg turn me down at door for being visibly 50+
