You need to live in the real world, if and when UK leaves the EU, all foreign hookers are not going to head off home, we are not talking about legit builders and factory workers who are paying UK tax, we're talking about prossies, who even before the single labour market were working in UK, leaving the EU will make no difference at all, just as the other year when Romanian and Bulgarian workers got the right to work here, some people were saying oh there will be a flood of new hookers, wrong, the sex trade doesn't work like that.  :hi:

And Brexit won't necessarily work like that either. We won't suddenly close our borders and deport every foreign immigrant.

Offline Jimmyredcab

That would not be right ----------- or possible, the scaremongers are saying that Brits will be put onto trains and deported from Spain, total cobblers.

After Brexit there would still be freedom of travel but work permits would be needed.    :hi:

Offline Cuntminion

No it's not an export industry regardless of ethnic make up

It's not a market value deduced on numbers hooking or ease of European travel

Basically wg will charge what they think they can get away with and price is dictated by what punters are prepared to pay

If everyone just stopped tomorrow and went I'm not punting anyone over £100 then rates would soon tumble

Brexit won't change nothing, Indies can't change nothing they are really guided by the agency baseline and what people will pay

Really the two main groups that set the fee are agencies and punters

And really that's another reason not to agency punt

That would be wonderful but it's never going to happen, because £100 to some men is small change, especially in London where a small flat sells for a £million.

One thing determines prices and that is market forces, if a fat old dog charges £150 an hour she will get a dusty phone ---- simple economics.

We are not going anywhere this country can't function without immigrants and would surely collapse if we left EU. We are stronger in than on our own.

Mass uncontrolled immigration has brought this country to it's knees, the minimum wage has now become the norm, great if you have just arrived from some third world pisshole.

It is only a matter of time before the EU votes to make the Swedish model mandatory Europe wide.

Why Sweden is a failed state, the place has turned from a great place to a 4th world hell hole in 25 years.

No idea why anyone would imitate them !

That will never happen --------------- in Germany all aspects of prostitution are completely legal ---and taxed.  :hi:

If Brexit means those lowlife Romanian scumbags depart then that can only be a good thing.  :hi:

I am doing it again agreeing with him ..yep there are some Ok shags out there from Rom and Bulgaria but I have always felt they are being well pimped and it shows in the service .What is it with Hungarian girls they just seem stronger willed and do not have that baggage.

I am for leaving the best shags I have had have been a mix of nats it wont stop the Travelodge girls in or out. The pound will rise no doubt when we stop paying for the rest of europe :drinks:

It will be good, there are too many scammers about. People may argue about "choice" but it just makes it harder to see the wood for the trees. Of course this is assuming free movement will be abolished which is very unlikely.

What will be good? Do you think all Romanian and other foreign hookers will pack their bags on 24th June? They have been here working as whores since the iron curtain came down, just in the 90's it was more common for them to call themselves Italian or Spanish, if we leave they won't leave, why would they?

The pound strengthening post Brexit is wishful thinking. The markets are indeed already reacting to the possibility of Brexit: Three months ago, 1£ bought you 1.38€, now it's 1.27£. This makes it less attractive for European prossies to work here and makes it more expensive for us to punt abroad.
Not speculation: we are feeling the economic consequences of a possible Brexit already!

Yes the market is hitting the pound, but in the medium to long term the pound will recover once the dust settles, the exchange rate can be fickle, last year pound was at a high of €1.40, only a year or so before the euro was nearly equal to a pound, didn't stop me punting though.

What a load of tosh. For one who says the markets are reacting to the possibility of Brexit... The markets are not only complex but they are easily manipulated. I do like your idea that some Romanian prossie is monitoring the markets and on hearing that the pound has weakened temporarily by 6 Euros books to see her financial advisor to discuss the next best possible destination.

Exactly, no prossie is seriously going to stop visiting UK just because the pound weakens, just as I'm not going to change my mind and vote to stay just because it might affect my exchange rate when punting abroad.

Bad.

The economic repercussions of leaving would be severe, not scaremongering but reality. I'm deeply concerned by this matter, specifically because of my career in manufacturing and the primary export market being that of the EU.

Pertaining to escorts, price rises and less variety.

You appear to be in the minority, most of our members know that the only realistic option is to withdraw from this European Superstate ----- which no one ever voted for.

This country can be great again ---- on our own, no doubt in my mind.

The economic repercussion

Your two statements cintradict each other, if there was a negative impact economically then more girls (Brits in particular) would turn to prostitution to make ends meet, thus the variety increase, and the price fall  :music:

You have plenty of figures to "support" your feelings from a business viewpoint, though they are, when examined, extremely speculative.

As for the prossie-effect, I can't see it not being eclipsed by the ban-them-buy-them debate of Harmans-vs-Corbyns. Don't forget the EU is officially anti-prostitution which gives member states a good excuse to join the ban-them brigade.

As you know, the EU had no teeth. They sit around for days, come up with pages of Andrex-worthy rancid recommendations, get paid and go home again.

Here's one of their resolutions.

Lots of inaccuracies, tries raising punting age of women to 21, bleats about "terrible, degrading, trafficked, HIV, gender-issues" in pulpit tones.

I think there's a more recent version saying countries that allow prostitution are bad or something. The only use is if Harman wants to wave it about of further "evidence" of Britain's "duty" to comply on "humanitarian grounds".

Currently Harman is a nobody, her party is not in Government and under Mr Corbyn they never will be.    :hi:

There's the sort of scaremongering on here about Brexit that "Just call me Dave" and his allies would be proud of.

As Jerboa says, it would make no real difference.

I seem to remember there were thousands of Romanian prossies long before the freedom of movement was extended to the country and Bulgaria in January 2014 and there are a lot of non-EU Working Girls operating now, especially Brazilian.
