Depends entirely on your doctor, but they come in boxes of four, and you'll probably get two boxes (enough for 16 punts for most people).

Then it's on your record, and you just need to put in a repeat request from then on, without having to have an appointment each time.

Note : on a proper prescription you aren't paying per tablet or per box, you are paying the standard charge per item, regardless of what you get and how much of it.

I've used Asda Pharmacy, Superdrug on-line Doctor and Assured Pharmacy.

Asda was always hit and miss; not all Pharmacists are licenced to dispense ED meds. Superdrug was quick but expensive and the collect in-store option was convenient. I now order on-line from Assured Pharmacy. Last week I ordered 32 50mg Sildenafil for £61.19. The more you order the cheaper the unit price gets. If you order just 4 tablets then the unit cost is nearer £4 a tablet.

Superdrug online is expensive but good  - easy to use prepaid cards etc with no probs, last time I even got proper Pfizer Viagra despite having ordered generic sildenafil.

Interestingly I seem to be having less side effects with the genuine tablets   ???

What do you mean? It IS £8.50. You've been to a GP before, surely? They don't charge anything. The charge is for the prescription, and is the same whether you're getting sildenafil, penicillin or morphine.

I had a look. You have to pay an extra £25 if you don't already have a prescription and you need to do their online consultation. So £52.99 total.

My GP initially gave me private scripts for sildenafil. Tesco pharmacy supplied the tablets on this for a little over £2 for 2 packs of 4. At some point when I got a repeat script it became an NHS one, so the charge became the standard prescription charge (for 8 tablets). No point arguing over the cost of that. Great VFM.

  OMG again I am agreeing with Jimmy    the thing is not to find the cheapest but the best for you small dose is best as as time goes on you can always up the dose but to start on a 100mg is just daft I find 15-25 mgs is fine for a one off or 50mgs for daytrip ie several goes the pills crumble so measurements are pretty guessey Kamagra in jelly for I have found gives me the best hardon ie I can shag for England iron bar but it de sensitize the little fella although its an iron bar ...plus worse thing is the head aches and flushing and to use half a pack is fiddley to say the least I fold and stick back with sceoltape to seal ..Asda and Lloyds are fine plus payment with card is never a worry ie they are legit

I agree. But I still think it's a dumb thread. Anybody with enough nous to punt can find viagra these days, on or offline. And anybody with a decent foreign supplier that undercuts british fees considerably will shut up about it. Otherwise it invites hassle from big pharmas. The main reason just now for using a good overseas one is if you prefer (for instance) vardenafil, that has no side effects and can be used without regard to food and things. Cialis is also much much cheaper if you are able to buy genuine generics. It will drop in price once the U.S./U.K. patent runs out. As for newbies posing the question, one naturally feels inclined to point them in the direction of the very best pharmacy known on this board (shhhhh! it's called RTFF!)

Placed several orders with them. Genuine tablets, arrive normally within two days. I buy them 60 at a time, lasts me around three months. Cheapest way I've seen - certainly cheaper than a GP prescription as those tend to be limited/rationed to save costs

Yes, it is. I used to get Sildenafil on prescription but had begun to find it wasn't so effective any more. So I went back to my GP & saw a really enthusiastic Trainee GP. She went through all the books and discovered that 20 mg of Tadalafil was more effective - had more active ingredients? - than the highest dose of Sildenafil that she could prescribe.

Since that day, that's what I've been on. And every time I punt, I give a silent vote of thanks to that Trainee GP, wherever she is now.
