etc)
What they recommend in the Gum Clinic and do is give the highest dose to allow the person see success of the tablet working and remove any anxiety away of it not working and then reduce it down if needed on the one month time appointment.

I'm not a doctor, but that sounds very iffy advice for ANY medication; I'd want that confirmed by majority medical opinion before going down that route.

Well what I have is the 20mg Vardenafil tablets (Levitra) - or will have I have not had time to put the prescription in yet. This is the maximum dose for it. I was going to be given the 100mg Viagra before I asked for Levitra.

What I was told is you try this and see if it works. If it does then in the one months next appointment it can be reduced if needed due to any side effects. Or if it does not work it can be swapped to one of the others (Viagra).

I had mentioned I tried the 10mg Cialis that my GP prescribed and it did not work. And this may have swayed her judgement to giving me the max dose of the Levitra/Viagra. As the max for Cialis is 20mg.

My posting was more so advice to others to possibly go to the Gum clinic to get the tablets on the NHS. As this way you are getting the genuine article and also much cheaper (or possibly free) on the NHS.

Anth if you are 32 and need a stimulant (perhaps a placebo) to get an erection, then what are you going to do at age 42/52/62/72?  Will you need a bigger dose?  Will you come to rely on these to get it up?

Should you not be looking at addressing the issues that are stopping you get a hard on rather than looking for chemical fixes?  At your age there really shouldn't be any bother.  Have you watched alot of porn in your time, sometimes porn can numb your brain to the stimulus that would usually turn you on.

For me seeing a nice bum is enough to get the old chap stirring and I'm only a couple of years younger than you.

If Anth was taking alcohol would anyone be so censorious over his use of it? AIUI viagra / kamagra is essentially a muscle relaxant. Absent disastrous side effects revealed on first use, which he hasn't suffered, I personally see no harm in his use of it, any more than I would him using alcohol, or taking non addictive painkillers such as aspirin or ibuprofen. Probably much less dangerous than other recreational drugs such as cannabis, and certainly cocaine.

Free Viagra from the GUM clinic. ?????

Can someone confirm that is right. ?????

Sounds unlikely> all I ever get is free condoms

Have PMed Softlad a scan of my Prescription sheet. Have not posted it on the forum as it contains personally identifyable info.

I do not know why people are so mistrusting. What would I gain by saying things which are not true?

I think its a case you have to actually be assessed and deemed to need the stuff. Its not like you can go in and say, can I have some free tablets. Ok here you go.

Like I say I think its a case of if the ED is causing emotional distress or anxiety they will prescribe it.

But with the GP its a case of they only prescribe if you have diabetes or a spinal injury.

And also its not technically the Gum clinic. Its a separate clinic for sexual health that uses the Gum building (probably the one which gives out contraceptives to women)

i  have used cilais 20mg by cutting it into 2 pcs.it worked very well for me. i felt its effectness for more than 12 hours. only side effect was a      light headache and red face (when starts action). i noticed that most side effects disappear after 2-3 hours.

i have used them to prevent coming quick since i have no ED problem.i read somewhere i don't remember now that cialis is also good for PE. and i have confirmed it myself.

After trying all three. For me I have found Vardenafil/Levitra by far the best. I did not get a single side effect from taking the largest dose of 20mg.

Taking even 50mg of Viagra causes bad pressure headaches, and for me a slight blue tint to vision (but this is a rare side effect from what I have been told). But like Joe said it may just be I need to take 25mg of it.

When they get them back in stock I would recommend people giving even just a small sample of 4 a go with their Kamagra orders. I get the feeling they will make the switch over to them.

I had a go on the kamagra gel and it works really well .the problem I had with it was it gives me red eyes and makes me look like the terminator or a junky !
I found you have sex then go to sleep with a hard on and wake up with one that you could brake a window with and a banging headache .
Good shit but I find it difficult to hide the fact that you have taken one .
Are they all like that or is it just me.?

I've only tried Viagra, so can't comment on the others that I understand are known/intended to produce longer lasting and more persistent effects. Viagra works for me precisely because the stiffie arrives when you need it and goes when you don't. The only negative effect for me is that coming a second time is more difficult. The hard on is as good the second time, so still much fun to be had, but usually no "second coming" for me.

What I have been advised is you need to try them all and find what works best for you.

But like Joe said reduce your dose of Viagra as it seems powerful stuff.

The reason I queried it was because if they gave out Viagra to everyone who requested it the cost to the NHS would run into millions, I honestly thought a GUM clinic only dealt with STI's not erection problems.
If they gave them to you then obviously I got it wrong.  :unknown:

I might have to try the Asda private prescription route (the one that doesn't involve your GP's approval  :D ). But can AnthG tell us if their consultants will interrogate you and your penis before administering the drug or are they more straightforward??

If you let us know AnthG or any of the other guys who might have taken this rout...

The Asda pharmacy just want to have a quick chat about what medication you are on to make sure you are not on Alpha blockers etc. They wont physically check you out. The Gum clinic do however want to do a full examination so bear that in mind.

To be honest I would factor in the cost here. You will be paying ~£30 for 4 tablets of Viagra. When you can get 8 tablets of Kamagra for ~£15. A whole bunch of people have ordered from this website and always got kosha from them.

Offline SteveNova

I ordered from this site http://www.cheap-kamagra-supplier.com  Good service, as they arrived in two days.  Instead of the Kamagra that I ordered, I was sent Silagra, which they say is the same active ingredient as Kamagra/Viagra.  I know some members have also been sent this.  Have you found it to be as equally effective as Kamagra?

Offline MisterP

Hey guys, recently my erections haven't been quite as hard as I need them to be and maintaining one isn't easy either.
The only times I've taken Viagra were yrs ago at the beginning of being sexually active with my gf due to nerves.  Also I've taken them at times when I've been stressed due to balancing exams and work.
Started on 25mg and worked very well, but after a few more occasions it seemed to fade.  Therefore I increased the dosage to 50mg and this only left me with more dizziness and a mediocre erection. I never experimented further because after a while it just went back to normal with lifestyle.
Although now some yrs later it has returned and I'm not sure whether to return to Viagra that failed me over time or try something new.

Like I said above the Levitra had the least side effects for me - actually none at all.

I am back onto to the Viagra as it gave me slightly better results after trying the Levitra a couple of times. (But the Doctor did say I should have maybe persevered with the Levitra as it may have been other factors causing it).

Much appreciated AnthG.
I'm going to try Kamagra first as they're out of stock on Levitra..
Bought 8 for 15quid

As these are 100mg, should I be cutting these up first?

I would definitely cut them up. As they do give bad headaches at even 50mg.

Offline SteveNova

I've been lucky in not getting nasty side effects.  I do drink a great deal of water when taking it, as I read that keeping hydrated can help avoid headaches.  I can also report that Silagra works as well as Kamagra - these were sent in place of Kamagra and have the same active ingredient.  I also split the 100 mg in half - I guess I can always up the dose if I ever need to in the future!

Offline MisterP

I might try the nurofen mixer. I can't drink too much water as with the cold weather together with any nerves isn't great for my bladder.
