Phoned a girl advertising on AW in Derby (yes I should know better after all I've said about the place in my book) but she looked tasty. The phone immediately went over to answer (must have been set to do this, so she'd no intention of answering.)

She immediately sends me a text saying 'text me hun.' I hate it when they call me 'hun! '
Anyway I did. It transpires she's staying in the Stuart hotel. At least I know it having stayed there once and seen the excellent Jessica there many years ago.
She said if I texted her when I got there she would tell me the room number.
I asked her why she didn't speak on the telephone, she replied 'text only hun.'
My reply was 'I've been doing this a long time and I'm no longer prepared to risk a fifty mile round trip on the strength of text communication and no room number given. If I can't get to speak then it's no deal.'

Of course the knobheads on Prossienet would have said she was perfectly within her rights to communicate how she wanted to.
I'm also within my rights not to risk the journey.

Almost certainly a foreign girl who could barely speak English. There are a couple of similar newish profiles, probably run by the notorious Derby pimps.

I went to GFE Sheffield instead and saw Crystal who was very good again.

To say they charge the rate they do this again shows they/some haven't got a clue when it come to being proffessional.
If she couldn't have taken your call at that moment why didn't she offer you a convenient time to call back ?
I know if it was me and £100-£150ph was at stake I wouldn't let you get away that easliy.

Possibly one or two of our fluffies would agree.

You were in the right, it is your money, you set the rules not her, more punters should stand their ground.

I'm finding it harder and harder to arrange a punt these days.  I don't mind a text to get things started and check availability, but a phone call is a must if I haven't seen her before.  Like Nik I have about a 50/60 mile round trip for a punt so I need something set in stone before I set off, been on wild goose chases more times than I care to remember so I just don't leave the house without having something confirmed.

Was trying to sort something out earlier today, but gave up due to people wasting my time and not picking up the phone after exchanging a couple of text messages.  Tried to fall back on a regular, but she had other plans for this evening, so looks like it's the Ryder cup for me

I never give out my room number to first-time clients before they get to the hotel. Is it really that much of a dealbreaker to you? o.0

If I'm doing a 60 mile round trip to your hotel then yes it is.

Would you do a 60 mile round trip to the hair dressers on the off chance that you might get an appointment?

not a dealbreaker but might make me want to choose another girl, if youre texting an address then why not text the whole  address? it saves us punters time looking up directions if we dont know the area  , and if we turn up late you might accuse us of time wasting and decide not to see us , so its a wasted trip , you get no cash and we get no fun

I think the dealbreaker for Nik was she wouldn't answer the phone, also a dealbreaker for me these days.

Me also, I refuse to accept all this "text only" bullshit, if they don't wish to talk I will go elsewhere.  ;)

I don't double book clients though so any time I confirm a booking the only way it would fall through is if my client didn't make it...

I work from hotels so obvs I give out the hotel name.

All I can imagine is that she was either with a client at the time so couldn't pick up, getting ready between bookings and didn't have time to talk, or had very bad English. Strange.

She had time to reply to a text. The bad English thing could be right, I took it to mean a pimp is incharge of bookings.

I think he means a goose chase, where he gets there and the WGs phone is off. That's why a hotel name isn't a guarantee, well, in punting nothing's a guarantee really.

That maybe true but many girls are totally mercenary.

Suppose I book a 30 minute session but one of her high roller regulars then wants to book the same time for two hours, is she going to knock him back, I really don't think so.

wow REALLY 50 miles?......but why would you risk going so far?
could you imagine the horror had you of spoken to her on the phone, thought how lovely she was.... then turned up and she was a druggy mess! now that would be a waste.....
sorry but it makes no difference if you text or phone...... you will always have that risk
when staying at hotels I never give the room number till they get there.... say that I run over with time on the last guy.... and you turned up early......
and as for guys in hotels.... most prefer not to give the number till im there so that gives a warning that Im 5 mins away....

You did the right thing, no point chancing it based on texts with someone you've never seen before. If a lady can't even have a phone conversation with you prior to a booking, then what else won't she do on said booking etc. Bad business. I don't expect a hotel room number until a few minutes before the booking starts, at least that's been my experiences.

I have sometimes travelled further than 50 miles, which is why I insist on a short chat at the very least, if she is not friendly in those few minutes it is unlikely to improve once the booking commences.   :hi:

Fifty miles round trip. Only twenty five each way. I do that to work every day.

However to those ladies who think it didn't ought to have been a dealbreaker, it  is only about three years since Naughty Girl Soph let me down by luring me to a Sheffield hotel without giving a room number - and we had spoken on the phone! - and then not answering when I arrived.

A similar thing also happened in London which resulted in a wasted trip across the city.
At least you don't get this unreliable nonsense in a parlour.

wow REALLY 50 miles?......but why would you risk going so far? The UK is quite sparse and people live outwith Cities.  I live in the Country, my nearest city where I can see an escort is Edinburgh, 30 odd miles away dependant on where in the City she is based.  There are a couple of girls locally that I could see, but it's all a little too much on my doorstep and I'm not comfortable with that..... could be worse though, imagine being a punter in Canada, now that really is sparsely populated.
could you imagine the horror had you of spoken to her on the phone, thought how lovely she was.... then turned up and she was a druggy mess! now that would be a waste.....
sorry but it makes no difference if you text or phone...... you will always have that risk Disagree on this one, I can get an idea of a woman far more from a phone call than from a couple of texts.  How do I even know it's a woman that's texting me?

Interesting point.  I can understand this if the WG is close to the hotel but I suspect a number of WG would not leave home without a room number - and even calling the room to check (just in case some idiot has set up a practical joke).

But in a number of hotel visit over the years I have always called the WG with the room number once I have checked in even if the appointment is a few hours off.

I guess I am just not one who accepts that all WGs are scheming lying bitches.
