So I've finally (after a very long time!) built up the courage to book my first punt. I'm booked for an outcall tomorrow evening. I have no idea what to expect and I'm quite nervous and I have a few questions. I'm aware that 99% of the escorts out there are probably fine and lovely people so I hope my questions don't offend anyone - I'm just concerned about that 1%.

I've read around that it's quite legal to do this in the UK, but is there anything I need to be aware of that IS illegal (baring in mind shes visiting me at my hotel, its not a brothel or something)?
Any safety concerns I might need to be aware of (in terms of physical safety, stealing things, etc)?
What is the general etiquette of a meet - what happens after I answer the door? (do I hand over the money, do I leave it on the side, does the money exchange hands immediately, etc).
Whats the general conversation like? I don't want to spend 20 minutes talking about football but equally don't want to be rude (in the same way I wouldnt be rude to the checkout lady at ASDA).
Bring my own condoms, or use hers?
Finally: OWO. What sort of risks are attached to this? Seems like most people say the risks are very very small, with HIV risk being pretty much nil. Does anyone know of anyone catching anything this way and would you say the risk is worth it? Obviously any very small risk is still a risk...

You are not at risk doing from HIV doing OWO. You are however susceptible to Herpes and some would argue the clap..

You need to do some reading and go to POZ. You need facts which they have on the site. Google until your heart content.

Now with what you propose there is no risk of legal complications.

Some tips.

Take only the right amount of money, no more.
Take a cheap watch
Don't take your expensive phone

If you must, leave things out of sight.

Yes, you can catch an STI (gonorrhoea) from OWO, but you probably won't.  Looking for specific percentages is pointless because they are all estimates, which is why they vary. If it worries you that much, I suggest going OW to start off with; the last thing you want is to ruin the punt because you're fretting about the OWO risk.   I started off OW only, then decided I preferred OWO.  If I had a partner I was barebacking regularly, I'd go back to OW (or maybe even stop altogether).

Just go and get it out of the way, man.  The worst that's likely to happen is you have an uninspiring experience, but you may well enjoy it.    And yes, don't take an expensive phone or leave a wallet with ID / cards in out of your site.  Most prossies won't touch it, but you don't want to tempt people unnecessarily.

As for payment confirm services before handing over the cash. If she says she has to pop out to pay/see/talk to her driver once she has the money tell her that's fine but you will go with her or tell her to go but leave the money in your room (a small few will do a runner with your money and leave a handbag full of crap in the room to convince you she is coming back)

Being an escort doesn't make her more likely to be a lovely person. She is a person after all. How many strangers do you meet in your daily life who come across as lovely people? Take that ratio but then weight it slightly towards "bad" as unfortunately the paid sex industry does attract some desperate people and others looking to scam.
