Nnickie, you need to understand that there is a hardcore dozen or so posters who use the north east forum to impress their opinion on everyone and about everything irrespective of whether they know anything about the posting topic. Once they get agitated, they really vent their spleen, so prepare to be the better man and let it go sometimes, you can't win against arrogance. Just use the forum best you can, you may take some flak along the way, but thats life these days
Well Mr Know it All, I for one do not need to impress my opinions or anything else anyone on this forum. I use it to get info on my “Hobby”. There is no Hierarchy or Upper Echelon on here just the Administrator, and if he’s not a “Happy Chappie” with some ones posts, comments, and/or remarks, then Ya History……..End Of.
It not a case of whether anyone knows the topic inside out or not. Just do the basics, like ask the question and post a link, if you cant find one or say so, HELP is always available. If you tell guys on here you’ve seen someone within the last few days do a review. Its all about the passage of info on the WG’s out there in the big bad world, be it Good, Bad or Indifferent. That’s what this site is all about, or at least that’s my take on the site.
You may think guys are, as you say “Venting their spleen” I’m not, but having been in the army for 22 years. If your going to do a job do it right and to the best of your ability, not do it half shaft and let someone else do most of the “Donkey Work”. Is that too hard to understand or comprehend. I do know having been institutionalised for 22 years my sarcastic army humour isn’t everyone’s “Cup of Tea” on here, but it’s a way of dealing with things that if you don’t find a way to release it, IT will eat you up from the inside outwards. Believe me I’ve seen the film, read the book and played the part.
As for the arrogance, I think that’s all yours, as I think you want to Mr Goodie Two Shoes and police the site
