Fail I'm afraid - as VW has pointed out it says "could".

Your diagnosis remains untreatably poor English comprehension skills with Drama Queen-itis as a complication!

Drug resistant may be more accurate, as the articles on this have said, to usual treatments.
I'd also like to bet it's more civvies than working girls (no evidence on this).

Online smiths

The medical profession has now declared that there is a new "super gonorrhoea" that could be untreatable due to the drug resistance of the new strain of the clap, in the past I used to run the gauntlet with OWO and I was of the opinion that if I were to contract it, although it is quite painful , it could be easily treated.
Apparently it is quite contagious and it can live outside of the body for a short while so without sounding to paranoid I am envisaging a touching pussy then touching  cock scenario and bingo   :scare:
Just the thought of having the pain and the complications of gonorrhea for many years puts a dark cloud over my up and coming retirement from work and my emigration to the Costa's.
So putting all this into perspective, fuck that I'm out.

This has been posted on here before and that poster said he was out as well. I take the risks I am prepared to take for the rewards on offer as I see them, up to others what they do. I imagine unless I caught it or something else my view wont be changing.

The more the better. That leaves more rampant totty for those of us with balls, (until they drop off that is)

Listen Guys, if the medical professionals say that it COULD become untreatable that's good enough for me and that's how I read it and took it in the first place.
They quote:“Gonorrhoea is at risk of becoming an untreatable disease due to the continuing emergence of antimicrobial resistance,”
I have had a good run and all I am saying is that I wouldn't want to catch the untreatable strain and that's why I am out.
I just wish I was as tough and brave as the likes of VW & co

How many times have you caught the clap from owo?

Me? Never in twenty years

You're not telling me that I'm the luckiest fucker that ever walked

It may happen, it may not.

There more chance you will find a Romanian escort, than getting gonorrhoea  :yahoo:

i give lessons in not believing the newspapers you should try one.  No bravery here just not gullable and suitably educated on such matters.  This whole thing was a memo to GP's to remind them to use new treatment.  The gutter media then jump again and trick weak minds.

VW, if you are so educated in such matters you should be able to understand that the quotes are from the medical profession and are not made up by the gutter press.
As I said earlier good luck to you all and I really do hope that it doesn't turn out as bad as what they are saying.
But I for one wont be finding out the hard way

No the gutter press rewrote and quoted another article to suit their agenda and even the most unaware people know people have an agenda.

If you read the whole thing carefully, what this story is based on a press release from public health authorities warning GPs that they MUST use combination therapy for Gonorrhea, because some are still using single agent therapy, which is ineffective and can lead to further resistance.

The advice is based on the same outbreak that was reported in Leeds a few months back. It's not a report of a new outbreak.

It's good for the punter to know this, because if you are unfortunate enough to get a dose, you are informed enough to make sure you get the right treatment (i.e. combination of two drugs).  To be fair, I suspect most GUM clinics will give you the right treatment, it's GPs who are often clueless.

That's not what you said though. You've changed your story. You have been saying there is now a strain of Gonorrhoea that could be untreatable - which is not the case.

It's been known and reported, for years, that there is a different strain of Gonorrhoea which does not respond to the standard treatment currently used in the UK, as has the idea that in time it may also evolve.

You fell into the trap of misunderstanding a news report and flounced on here with a sensationalist drama queen click bait post, and IMO deserve to have the piss taken out of you by experienced punters who've heard it all before.

Lost, I have not changed from my original statement.
Quote:The medical profession has now declared that there is a new "super gonorrhoea" that could be untreatable due to the drug resistance of the new strain of the clap.(if you notice the key word is COULD)
I am not what you call a "drama queen" I was simply stating that I am not will to take the risk any more and I would trust the medical professionals opinion far more than yours.

As far as more experienced punters taking the piss is concerned it is par for the coarse on here with certain members as they just seem to take great pleasure in trying to insult and rip other punters statements to pieces.
VW, while I am on the subject, you really do insult other punters intelligence as they can read reports themselves to come to their own conclusions and they certainly don't deserve to be labelled as "stupid " just because they don't follow your so called "experienced" opinion .

As far as I am concerned other punters can make up their own minds on the matter and I certainly would not try to convince otherwise, I am merely repeating what has been reported in black and white and what MY intentions are.
Only time will tell eh?

If there was no sense of drama or nonsense in them would make it difficult for people to rip apart.

Dry your eyes mate !

And that statement is incorrect, and was not made in the press release by the CMO as reported by the BBC.

Here is the link to the BBC report which you claim you based your post upon, but which you were unable to produce when requested -

Nowhere in that does it say what you have claimed it does.

This is obviously becoming a slagging match again as per he norm and there was no drama until you made your first sarcastic post, again as per the norm.
If this is all you can do you really should get out more

You've posted nonsense. It's been pointed out you've posted nonsense. You refuse to admit it's nonsense. What did you expect?

Listen you two, you obviously have some sort of vendetta and I find it quite amusing but facts are facts and other sensible punters can make up their own minds as to what they think may lay ahead.
But I for one value my health to much to take this new possible risk.
I do hope that this is not to dramatic for you.

Indeed - if someone posts nonsense regarding sexual health - as you have I will point it out.

Accusations of vendettas are a bit drama queenie IMHO.

Sensible punters will make their own minds up, but drama queens will throw their toys out the pram because of a could and quit punting.

Your choice as you say, my choice as I say.

Media probably spreading it about to scare the excrement out of party goers to reduce the cost subtended on GUM clinics after Christmas.

Gonorrhea is easily detected under the microscope with a smear of pus from sufferer's old man stained with methylene blue. They can be seen in twos [gonococcus are diploid by nature] inside leucocytes. A course of broad spectrum antibiotics and a retest to ensure elimination being the standard treatment. If the course of antibiotics is interrupted or too short then the infection occurs again but masked in its early form proceeds to cause the effects seen with untreated cases; infertility, opthalmia, stricture, proctitus etc.

It is this later stage that is notable; 'drug resistance' meaning longer treatments with stronger doses but also more complicated tests involving specialised diagnostic media to prove a reoccurrence.

Gonorrhea can be transmitted outside the body due to contact with infected fluid/tissue/dressings - this includes vaginal/anal contact outside the sheath [something to think about there].

There's the cost NHS would avoid if more persons weren't being cavalier with their sexual health at certain times during the year.

Information available in Frobisher and Fuerst's 'Microbiology in Health and Disease,' an excellent volume I purchased for use during my professional training.
