Thought I'd share a recent experience I had that some on here may find useful.

If you don't use a phone specifically for punting and use 'WhatsApp' then any hooker you call is able to see your personal details, name etc'
If she saves your number (most do) and uses WhatsApp herself.

I recently downloaded WhatsApp to my mobile and a few days later received a message from a hooker I'd seen a couple of times years ago !!
(hence she had my personal number...)

Yeah some good advice there. I don't use Whatsapp but I wasn't aware of this. Personally I've no real reason to be so careful but when it comes to punting and real life there's no overlap, I hear too many horror stories. My phone number brings up no searches on google, its over 7 years old. And this forum is in no way linkable to anything else in my life.
I don't think my employer (superviser, manager, lead manager, or top brass) could give a shit if I see escorts. At the end of the day he is a rich cunt and has probably seen an escort or two himself. I work for a very large company, I'm sort of on the bottom rung of the ladder as there are so many levels of supervisers, managers, executives in all sorts of various departments, I'm basically a nobody in terms of company image of what I get up to in my own time.

Go in to settings and delete your name. It won't let you leave it blank, but you can (like me) just put one character (I've pit a full stop). Anyone that has you as a contact will see you as the name stored in their contacts. No one else will get your name. Oh, and don't forget to have either no photo or at least one that doesn't identify you.

Well elcheapo phone uses likely 2G. Decent phone 3G

The traditional (old) 2G phones used the Full rate (FR) and then Enhanced Full Rate (EFR) codecs. While they were good enough, later on the newer phones started using Adaptive Multi-Rate (AMR) codecs. 3G used AMR codecs by default. This results in better voice quality and clarity.

Plus 2G calls cost incredibly more than 3G. I get 3p per min with my 321 Pay as you go from Three. On 2G I think its something like 60p per min.

My advice would be to go and get a locked Grade B Blackberrry Curve from CEX for £25. Get the unlock code for it for 60p via ebay. And there you go (this is what I have done to get a second punting phone last week).

I use a Tesco sim and I think they are about 30p/min unfortunately and that's in an iPhone but they do triple credit - £10 gives you £30 but in comparision still not as cheap as you quoted.

If you get a Mifi (again second hand from CEX) and then put a free EE sim in there, you get 50mb per month data free with this and not need to give EE a penny so you can use this to save on mobile data costs with your Pay as you go sim.
