Whilst I agree that calling someone out for not contributing after 3 days of membership is pretty harsh, I subscribe to the view that very new members on the hunt for deleted videos of a retired SP should be treated with some caution.
There seems to be a small core of posters who go out of their way to lambast any member, new or old, who, perhaps, doesn't contribute that often and then has the audacity to post something.
Given that there are, supposedly, some 70,000 members of this forum, the vast majority of whom never, or seldom, post, when you see a criticism like this, is that a wonder? Castigating and condemning people like that does nothing to enhance the diversity of the board.
