If you in Bangkok and want some feminine company but cannot be arsed to go trawling around the bars (I often can't these days) there are a number of outcall options available.

The first and priciest is escort agencies. The best is probably Bangkok Gold (External Link/Members Only). I notice that their rates have recently gone up to 6k (about £110) for 2 hours so they are expensive in terms of average Thai punting rates but they are reliable, their girls are well trained and they have some real hotties on their books.

A much cheaper option is Craigs List. I have used it as a means of finding out-calls, several times on recent trips and have been generally impressed by the quality of girl it is possible to hook up with. I get the impression that, although there are hardened pro's on the site, many of the girls are just  part-timers out to make a few extra spare baht on the side. Check there websites for pics of the available girls but, be warned, they are often heavily photoshopped so the girl who turns up at your door may not be as hot as the pictures suggest. Many guys have reported good success with aps such as Tinder. Haven't used it myself but I have had a great deal of success in the Philippines with Dating in Asia and more recently Seeking Arrangement and there is no reason why they shouldn't be as useful in Thailand.

Yes that will work in most cities in the world, but the cabby will take you to a massage parlour, that usually only costs 2000, but because you're paying his commission it now costs you 3500, I'd rather not be lazy, and do my research.

Respect to Vivago's info on using social media. I use Internet a lot for Europe but in Thailand I like to pretend I'm on holiday (it's sunny, mostly, it's colourful, it's fun).
